Stage 3 Endometriosis, been on the Pill (Mercilon for 4+ years ) been off since end of April. My skin is awfulllll
Came off the pill as I don’t want it to contribute to stalling my fertility chances now I finally have my diagnosis. I had no idea what stage I was and now I’m stressed about not being able to conceive - hense why I have come off the pill.
however my period/ period pains have been insanely bad. I’ve bleed through so many pads /tampons within minutes of changing
Ruined my trousers too 🥹
I’m sweating so much , I’m oily , I’m beyond tired- is this normal ? I remember my periods were awful before but I feel like I’m experiencing a big difference
Please help lol

Hi. I don't want to leave you with nothing no responses. I can not help with the bleeding but I understand where you're coming from for fertility. I wish I had just gone out one night when I was sort of well in my 20s and 'done the deed' and got pregnant. The state I'm in now with pain and sex I'll never get a guy to have a family or relationship. I hope you have a nice someone.
For tiredness may be an iron or multi vitamin with iron, and red meat.
The skin thing I can advise ✨️ espa yuzu and ginger sorbet cleanser. Espa balancing tonic. And a balancing moisturiser. The cleanser will clean the skin without drying or hurting active acne. It won't stimulate the oil anymore than it is. The balancing tonic will discourage the oil and and control production. Then the balancing moisturiser will keep your skin soft. Don't be tempted to eat the sorbet. It smells great. It's a joy to use every morning.
One last thing on oily skin. Espa do a pink clay hair and scale mask that I put on my acne when it was hurting (I admit I squeeze a black head every so often in frustration) the clay feeds the skin anything missing AND calms the skin if it's inflamed.
It’s shitshow isn’t it 🥲. There are things you can do to help the hormones settle a bit which will improve the skin too. One of the best resources for managing endo I’ve encountered inside out is a book by Katie Edmonds called Heal Endo. She does a great Instagram feed to working with fertility too. ( @heal-endo) it’s really thorough dealing with different ways to tackle the endo and combined approaches. Hope you find plenty there to help .
I haven’t got a endo diagnosis as of yet but at my last gynaecology appointment they said get off birthday control it does you no good.
So I did, 2 months in I was fine and then boom I started having monthly periods that were absolutely awful. I was crying in pain, hot water bottle burning my belly to get relief, heavy like you just going though pads, I couldn’t leave the house and couldn’t go to work.
I was on birth control for about 9 years before I came off. I had 3 months of these bad periods and I had to go back on the pill I couldn’t cope.
But the pill gives me all sorts of other problems so it’s really a choice of shit or shit😂
I also get very sweaty but actually more when I’m on birth control. You’ll be tired as you are loosing so much blood too.
Have you had surgery and had it Endo removed? if so maybe try stick it out and they may regulate, I think our body reacts crazy after being on birth control for so long. It was just for me off it strengthens my symptoms and I currently do not want to get pregnant so my best choice was to go back on it.
I have recently had a laproscopy but no removal , I’m due an MRI this month before a removal surgery with a specialist as my endo extensive apparently.
I am 25 , I put up a post stressing about fertility and everyone recommended trying before it’s too late for me … I’m not ready for one yet but I’d like to hope that pushing through this stage of coming off the pill will perhaps help my chances in the future ?
But it’s really shit lol
I’m coming off atm but honestly I was shocked at this period
