Endo and fibroid issues
Fertility
journey ended unsuccessfully, but hysterectomy seems so final. I'm 43 so was hoping for a few more years before menopause. I'm basically driving myself a bit nuts with all the things going round and round in my head. Any words of wisdom welcomed!

She said I need to have a laparoscopy for the endo and adhesions but the wait for that is 12-18 months and they are also referring me to a
fertility
clinic too. Can I go through IVF before the lap or will I have to wait until after?

Seeking Advice for PCOS
After undergoing numerous tests over several months, I was finally referred to an NHS
Fertility
Clinic in May 2023. While I'm relieved to have secured an appointment, I'm disheartened to learn that it won't take place until July 2023.

Autoimmune Disease and Low AMH
When speaking to my
fertility
consultant she made me feel like I could have no eggs by next year so I have been very stressed as I know women with low AMH tend to retrieve less eggs.

Confused
But going through a lap (which he told me is not risk free) wouldn't really help with infertility as removing mild endometriosis has little to no effect on
fertility
I suppose I feel very deflated again becuase he's practically said I should give up trying all these different things to investigate

Changing clinics to….?
If anyone has any experience of Care
Fertility
Northampton or Create Birmingham could you share your thoughts in a private message. These are my two nearest clinics. I’m planning on moving to Care, but I’m a bit worried about some of the reviews I’ve seen.

7 weeks spotting
However I’ve had
fertility
treatments and tests for years prior (10 years ttc) and always had low progesterone. I think this is what is causing my bleeding. The nurses and my doctor say they will not give me any progesterone boosters unless I have had 1 miscarriage. This is my first pregnancy.

Childless experience in the workplace
Over 70% of IVF treatment fails and the most likely outcome is childlessness, yet workplace

Miscarriage and missed periods
Also any tips to get this period going as we really want to try again, or even
fertility
tips but obviously without my period it’s making me worry then that I’m not ovulating. I’m taking some tablets with inositol metformin to help. Or any stories of hope after miscarriage!! :)

Advice - cysts and TTC
I am due to have my bloods done for
fertility
next month to be referred the following month. Has anyone else been in this situation? It’s been 4 months with no contraception and my cysts have continued to grow.

Fertility preservation egg/embryo freezing
As I know sometimes having surgery can lower your amh levels and
fertility
, or on the other hand can sometimes help. I would like to not just freeze eggs it’s not that successful to do it’s better to have embryos made and then frozen. Can anyone recommend a clinic around north west x

Male infertility, OHSS, s*xless relationship
New to join, but loving all the support and great advice, so thought I'd put myself out there…After 3 yrs of TTC and what felt like the longest 1 year wait for the NHS on the
fertility
referral, my husband and I were given the dreaded news…. It's near impossible to conceive naturally.

What could be causing pain in the testicle?
If not treated for a long time, it may cause severe pain, and in severe cases, it will affect

recurrent implantation failure
we were first told that it’s unexplained
fertility
and now it feels like somethings actually wrong with me as we have no implantation.. we will be starting our next cycle soon and will do a endometrial scratch and further biopsy and testing of the uterine lining.

Good reads for endometriosis? IVF?
Anyone found any comfort in any books regarding endometriosis or coming to terms with
fertility
issues? I feel like my biggest frustrations come from not having enough helpful information. I’ve researched everything but just perhaps looking for something less medical to read, maybe comforting?

Hysterectomy and endo
And I enjoy very physical hobby sailing and I'm already missing out on so much and I'd give up my
fertility
for that any day. Advise would be great.
