brown discharge while on stimms - day 5

Hi All. I am on day 5 of taking ovaleap (dose 375 - evening) and day 1 (morning) of taking ganirelix. I was feeling ok until now. From about 7pm today, I keep seeing watery brown blood discharge on the toilet paper, and it is more than just spotting. My abdomen hurts a little bit. I had AF ultrasound this morning and everything looked ok so I am a bit shocked. The fertility clinic didnt do any blood test. I am on antagonist protocol. I will call their out of office number tomorrow morning but I am really worried Has anybody else experienced this? Thank you.

hi Blueberryshrub. I had the exact same thing! I think on day 3 of stims. I called my clinic and they said it’s very normal, they said it should stop 1-2 days and it did. I panicked too, but it was all fine and turned out to be my best egg collection! Please double check with your clinic though as I was on meriofert and not Ovaleap. Good luck xx xxx

The brown discharge seems to have stopped and I am waiting for the nurse to call me.

Glad they’re calling you and you feel a little reassured ☺️ It’s always alarming isn’t it as the first thing you think is ‘my body shouldn’t be doing this!’. Wishing you all the best x
