Update on my thyroid medication š¤¦āāļø
Hi everyone ā¤ļø I posted some weeks ago about my appointment with an endocrinologist on Dec 27th, who just stopped my T3 prescription and put me back on T4 levothyroxin to which in her own report she stated... This lady is intolorent to both T4 and T3, therefore I recommend she goes back on T4 levothyroxin

Low Iron
Hi everyone, Wondered if anyone has had experience with SVT and low iron? Iāve just found out that I have extremely low iron stores which explains a lot of my symptoms, including a fast heart rate and wondering whether anyone knows whether it could cause atrial tachycardia? I am really hoping once

Prescribed NDT on NHS now doctor refusing to prescribe. Help!
I has to move GP Practise and before moving to current one I asked to speak to a GP. Receptionist said it wasnt necessary if a nhs consultant has recommended they will prescribe. So wouldn't get a doctor to phone me. I moved. All seem good but my repeats were not being set up. So became concerned.

I tested out of range high for THYROGLOBULIN ANTIBODIES & THYROID PEROXIDASE ANTIBODIES. I have been told by a doctor I do not have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis as the rest of my thyroid results are in range, however I may develop the thyroiditis in the future. Follow up testing is the plan as other test

Low Cortisol Symptoms Hid Lymphoma
Reduction of steroidsāExtreme exhaustion, loss of appetite and weight, weakness, dry coughing, numb chin. All but the numb chin could be symptoms of low cortisol. A lower spine MRI to find a pinched nerve that had been hurting my glute resulted in an immediate call from radiologist to get to ER

Son tested positive for gastric parietal cell antibodies
My son has history with h pylori, which he was treated for, but the symptoms haven't gone away completely. Last week I was talking about my own b12 deficiency and he informed me he has the same symptoms. I know he has been more tried than normal, but I put it due to the h pylori, after effects. As that

Addison's disease
I stopped taking Abiraterone three months ago to have a vacation. Was on it for six years. I tapered of the prednisone. I became very fatigued. Could hardly do anything in the morning and then limited things in the afternoon. then I thought of my low cortisol level (due to the abi) a couple years ago

Having seen an Endo privately, he has prescribed three months of Liothyronine 5mcg to take once a day alongside 100mcg of thyroxine to see if my side effects improve.. The GP refused to sanction it and has asked the Endo to prescribe privately, and if I show improvement after the three months, the GP

weight, diet and statins?
currently down to 5mg, generally chugging along ok, still working, but feeling occasional fatigue so assume Iām getting towards my own adrenals firing back up. Unfortunately Iāve put on about 25lbs over the last 15 months or so š so looking to maybe start trying to lose some. About 3-4 years ago
