After reading many posts on here regarding Thyroid testing I have just received a full Thyroid Function test from Blue Horizon. My Thyroid has not been medicated correctly since I started taking 100mg Levothyroxine 4 yrs ago. Everytime I have a test the parameters seem to change from one test to the next! One minute my T4 is 5.47 and the next 2.5 the< bit changes with it and there's always corrections on my records to make it look like I'm in range. I have other autoimmune issues and am sure this is all linked! I don't understand why my results always have to be corrected? The GP I try to see admits he hasn't much experience with Thyroid or the nodules internally I have. I just amazing am always 'in range as agreed with clinician'! Where's the best place to source T3 from as I'm sure this is the issue. Once I have my results I will post. Even with other results looking back vitamins or Hc1 will read one time <78 next time <65 as the measure that I'm in range! Surely the ranges should be fixed and not keep moving? I eat healthy, low fat etc but my cholesterol overall is 6.7 which is high, but have never been called in as I'm in range. There is a history on paternal side of naturally high cholesterol, but although I've told the GP nothing has been done. I take Plant Sterols but doesn't show any benefit. I'm also vit D and vit B12 deficient even though I take oral vit D with vit k (as seen on here) and a high dose of vit B12. Interestingly, recently had DNA done through a clinical trial and showed deficiencies, but am 'in range' for GP tests🥴. I also have Polymorphic Light Eruption in the sun so have to keep out of it! I'm sure I'd feel much better if could get proper truthful results to act on. I read on here that T4 is optimum at .1? Originally, before meds it was 13! then 2.5. T3 was tested allegedly but read same as T4?! Any advice welcome, thanks in advance🥰
