no help🥺
Recently raised Levothyroxine to 75mcg per day, from 50mcg. Still tired, can’t exercise. Only keep my job as I work from home, which is going to change soon and I need help. Been like this since 2014 and always told tests normal NFA. Paid for my own tests and found T4 low. Finally after years of trying

Yearly endo nonsense
I've given up ranting, this just seems to be yearly confirmation of what we are up against (sadly most don't get as far as Endochrinoloy. My GP surgery recently asked me to confirm my Levo dose? They prescribe it each month so is it compliance? I replied 150mcg Levothyroxine and 10mcg Liothyronine (I've

Strange Results
Hi, I was diagnosed with PA in 2013/14 and was given injections for a while but that stopped a good few years ago. I had tests done via Endo a while back and they said my levels were fine despite no injections/supplements. I had tests done in May 2023 and the active b12 came back as high. It showed

Help Interpreting Results
Hi. Can I have advice on results? These are from a while back for anyone who has read my recent posts. I was on 1 tablet of T3 a day at this point. I previously had high thyroid antibodies but the LDN I take seems to have lowered them to be in range. I was wondering if the same has happened with pernicious

Insomnia - Could nightime liothyronine exacerbate it?
Hi, I've just read: https://healthunlocked.com/thyroiduk/posts/148510755/liothyronine-brands-and-insomnia. As ever the answer seems to be "it depends"! Some better on or off lio, some better at bedtime or on waking, etc. My sleep pattern is (roughly) one half-decent sleep followed by an utterly awful

TSH and T4 raising on medications
Hi Initially, my TSH level was 8 mIU/L (normal range 0.4 to 4.0 mIU/L), with T3 and T4 within normal ranges. Upon starting a 0.25 euthyrox (T4) dosage, my TSH surged to 18, coinciding with the onset of mild discomfort in my rectal area, which I suspect may be hemorrhoids. Despite a dosage increase to

Starting T3
Hi I had appointment with private GP and the plan is for me to start T3. I am currently taking 75/100 mg Levothyroxine alternate days. My latest results were TSH 1.28, T3 4, T4 20.4 I’m told my conversion rate is poor at 5.1. It’s suggested that I take 2.5 mcg 3 times a day to begin. If I feel ok after

Does this sound like Hashimoto's please?
Hello, My thyroid has been under suspicion for many years but I cannot seem to get any answers. Postnatally, (four months after giving birth), some fifteen years ago, my TSH was tested and was 12.6. Nothing was done about this. ( I have only just seen this on my NHS app). Fast forward to eight years

I was taking cytomel for 6 years. Tsh went successfully down, but I never could reach normal ft3 because of my poor adrenals. Now when my thyroid worsened, tsh went from 0 to 4,5, anti TPO increased and anti TG appeared though never had them before, ft4 at lowest and ft3 aroung middleof the range. I
