I asked about b12 but was told normal range( 260), I begged for intrinsic factor test and it came back positive! I had the loading doses then they stopped it, and said 3 months despite me saying nerve pain was still bad, particularly mouth although i ddid have more energy.

I've had major stomach issues forever. I'll spare you the detail, but it's changed and gotten significantly worse since I started b12 injections 2 years ago. Does anyone have any experience of high anti-ccp numbers and RA being more damaging? The first time my tests were done, nearly two years ago, my anti-ccp was 79, with Rheumatoid Factor being 264. can anyone tell me what 34.3 pmol/L means. This is my B12 reading from a recent test but everything online is in pg/ml so I’m not sure how low this is. I’m advised to check my full blood count an intrinsic factor antibodies. Any advise would be very much appreciated

I have recently had the result of an Intrinsic Factor test. The normal range is listed as between 0 - 6 u/mL Mine was 480 u/mL Is anyone able to advise the relevance of this please as it appears quite extreme. Thanks

I know this isn't uncommon from what I've read on here i just don't understand the doctors logic, I think it's because I had a negative intrinsic factor test ages ago, can absorbtion issues still be a problem even if I don't have PA?
