sudden drop in thyroid results!!
I recently had some health concerns which are still being investigated, in the meantime a new symptom of swollen face has occurred and I seem to of gained all the weight I just lost. I got some thyroid results today and was shocked to see how they have decreased when I usually have a steady result.

T3 only treatment experiences please
Hello, Looking to hear from anyone that has tried t3 only treatment? It’s been suggested I try it. I have PCOS which can cause thyroid hormone resistance which maybe explains why T4 at any dose causes awful issues and my t3 doesn’t budge at all. My t4 before starting levo has always been fine &

A graphic showing highs and lows when you take T3?
I'm sure I've seen them before, but sorry I can't find them now. I think there are some graphics showing the highs and lows/peaks and troughs of T3 when you're on T3 medication. Does anyone have one please?

Royal Free visit
Hi all, I just thought I would give a quick update. I attended the Royal Free Hospital last Thursday ,I was seen in the Scleroderma clinic by a member of the team. She asked questions and examined me, she then went and got a senior colleague,(not Prof Denton) unfortunately can’t remember their names

Another iron IV/hydro post - been in hospital last night
Hey all,I had iron infusion on Monday. During it, I had anaphylactic shock (tight chest, couldn't breathe) and was injected with 100 mg hydrocortisone (thanks to this, they were able to finish the IV). I woke up on Tuesday morning feeling incredibly warm and with a lot of energy. My vision got sharper

Adrenal insufficiency
After 3.5 years on Prednisolone and 1 year of Toccilizumab for GCA including sight loss (late diagnosis), starting at 60mg, I got down to 2mg following a Synacthen test in June 23 which apparently proved my adrenal glands were capable of working. However I couldn’t function at all, extreme fatigue,

Hello 👋🏼 Please may I ask for the list that has the names of endocrinologists who have prescribed T3 to their patients in the past and are knowledgeable about T3? I need to find out if there’s someone in Royal Berkshire Hospital as I just found out that my GP referred me to them and I’ve been given

I've just got results of my T3: 4.09 (2.00 - 4.40). I feel OK so just wondering if I should leave well alone? I take 25mcg T3 and 75mcg T4.
I've just received the results of my routine T3 test: 4.09 (2.00 - 4.40). I feel OK so just wondering whether to increase a little or leave well alone ? Thanks 🙂

Recently, it really flared up after a nasty respiratory virus that started about the 15th December. Had a steriods and antibiotics. Things didn't improve. January I had a call
