Hi there,Could anyone send me a message to recommend a private endocrinologist that specialises in managing thyroid with T3 and T3/4 mixes? Preferably around the West Midlands. I was due to see an endocrinologist in Londond but the appointment has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances from the consultants side.
I thought thyroid org had a list but I can't seem to find it and their website says they can't give recommendations for endocrinologists.
Many Thanks

****Recommendations of endocrinologists can be sent via PM (chat)***
We cant discuss individual doctors on forum. So post will be closed to replies.
Also consider Zoom consultations as an option for endocrinologists further from your area. Always arrange a full test including thyroid function, nutrient & thyroid antibodies before attending any consultation to gain most from appointment.
Thyroid UK has compiled a list of private GPs & Endocrinologists. You can obtain list by contacting Thyroid U.K. either by emailing info@thyroiduk.org or using this online form thyroiduk.org/about-thyroid...
Be aware it is a list & not a recommendation or guarantee the endocrinologist with treat you with combination treatment you are hoping for. Please do your own further research.
Before booking any consultation you need to be minimum 6-8 weeks on constant unchanging dose and brand of levothyroxine
Test vitamin levels too
Recommended that all thyroid blood tests early morning, ideally just before 9am, only drink water between waking and test and last dose levothyroxine 24 hours before test
This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results. (Patient to patient tip)
Private tests are available as NHS currently rarely tests Ft3 or all relevant vitamins
Testing options and includes money off codes for private testing
