Spent 2023 improving folate, B12, Vit D although ferritin still poor. Came off PPIs and now take Gaviscon twice daily. Gastritis issues ongoing though. Officially a poor converter (dud DIO2) so really wanted to try T3 Gluten

am I hypothyroid now?
Help please! I have posted these on facebook group for Graves and a few people came back saying that I’m severely hypothyroid and I should change my endo as this should have never got that low. (BTW I’m seeing a recommended Endo 🤦🏻♀️) what are your views? 17 April (I was then on 20mg Carbimazole

hashimoto thyroid and T3
I have recently been told by Endocrinologist to stop T3 due to palpitations and atrial fibrillation, to increase T4 to 75mcg. This had been reduced by hospital where I went after collapsing with atrial fibrillation. He says rely on that and lifestyle changes. I feel I have been doing that for the last

Hi, So glad to have found this wonderful forum! I am a 74 year female who recently started taking pregabalin for RLS. I just got back my ferritin level and it is 12. I will order some iron and would like to know how many mg is a good dose. Also, I started taking niacin 500mg daily for my cholesterol

Recommended iron levels
With regard to iron, there is really only one correct way to test a patient's four iron levels. This information is from The Johns Hopkins University & Medical Center in Maryland, USA. Listed below are the four iron parameters, the "normal" limits for men and women, and the recommended levels for RLS

Blood Test Results
Hello, I would be grateful for some advice regarding these results. The background is that my Levothyroxine dose was reduced from 100mcg to 75 in early February 2024, due to a TSH only test which was below range. By late March I could barely function so I had a private test prior to the GP's TSH test

Anxiety when reducing Predisolon
I am coming down from 3mg to 2.5mg slowly over 7 weeks and have felt anxious on several days. I feel as if my heart is beating faster and can feel nauseous with it. I have read that this may be down to my cortisol levels at this stage. I don't have any of the other symptoms of low cortisol. I do have
