Can anyone help please?
On armour 11/2 grains, split dose. Diagnosed Hashimotos. These are recent bloods. Things have improved but I still feel odd. My main issues are I just can’t be bothered with things. I used to be a doer and now have zero motivation or interest in anything. I’m deffo menopausal as I had a full well woman

Heart rate, swollen tongue, can’t sleep. Hypo with Levo.
Please can someone advise me? I’ve been here before and I’m scared to go back to my doctor because I’m reliving the same rodeo I took back in 2019 when my private endo told me to stop taking Levo. I now cannot go private through my healthcare as all they will pay for is to completely remove my thyroid

Anyone take Co Q10 and are on T4/T3?
I’m seriously thinking of adding Co q10 to my daily routine. I get migraines, and having watched many chats on the World Migraine Summit recently, it stands out as something that might help. (I’m 58, so won’t be taking it for fertility reasons). I’m not on anything that might be contraindicated with

Hello. I am normally to be found on the PA forum but, as we all know, one autoimmune disease can often be followed by another. For that reason I have taken the advice of my fellows there and had my thyroid tested. Got the results today. They all seem within range but that doesn’t mean optimal of course

How long should I wait before taking my first blood test after adding in T3 and reducing thyroxine? What timings should I follow re taking my meds? I'm currently 5/6 weeks in of adding 5mcg of Roma T3 in hard capsule, which I take at 7am. I take my thyroxine at 11pm. I was taking 6 x125/1x100. Endo

Help Needed with my Levo Dose
I was diagnosed as hypothyroid at the end of last year. My GP started me on 50mcg levothyroxine. She increased this to 75mcg in March, then to 100mcg (at my request) in July. I've now been on that dose for 7 weeks and just took a private test (following the standard protocol) with MMH so that I know

Light Bleeding, BFN 11DP5DT. Two days till period due and OTD… Any hope?
I’m such an idiot. I’ve had a very rough few days and today I got some very light bleeding. From my research it could easily be implantation bleeding, but my mind went nuts and straight to the fear of period, and like some possessed zombie I grabbed my pregnancy test and did 1, it came up negative :

Euthyroid Thyroid Eye Disease
I have had problems with one eye for 9 months now. Started with gritty feeling, watering eye. Inflammation and baggy eye bags. Then fatty bumps appeared to be coming through above one eye, and one eye ball seems slightly higher than the other, and pushed forward slightly. Then came the double vision

No t3 or t4 test this time..
My recent blood test showed my tsh was within normal range but Consultant didn't request t3 or t4. I have been advised to continue on 15 my carbimazole. Should I have had t3 and t4 tested? I always have in the past but not this time, for some reason.. not feeling particularly brilliant either.. 😒

High TSH (which keeps rising over the years) and consistently high T4 for 7 years with no major symptoms.
Hi, Over the last 7 years, my TSH has kept rising from around 5.88 and now it is at 11.9. My T4 has stayed consistently high at between 19 and 20 throughout this time. My antibodies test are normal with nearly non-existent antibodies and my T3 was normal in the middle of the range. All my other blood

AS or sext step(s) suggestions.
Solitary enhancing nodule left prostate bed. Neg PSMA PET x 3 over two year period. Visible on 3 MRIs. Size seems stable but slowly rising PSA. Current PSA 0.35. Considering Bx before RT decision vs continuing AS. If Bx may do another Decipher. Initial decipher 0.69 high risk. Robotic prostatectomy

Enclomiphene citrate for late-onset hypogonadism?
I recently tried a TRT gel for my hypogonadism, about one year following my RT for Gleason 3+4 PCa (no evidence of metastasis before or after treatment). But after just one week of the gel, I had scary heart-centered side effects, so my Uro told me to get off it. What then happened is that I had

Graves/hyperthyroid - not severe but wish me luck!
Greetings to fellow thyroid sufferers! Weight loss of 1.5 stones since the start of the year sent me off to my GP surgery. After numerous tests the only thing that showed up was a thyroid problem. Tests were repeated a week later to confirm. Apart from the weight loss my symptoms are bowel movts

Update in sustained release T3 and new paper
The recent review of treatment for hypothyroidism recommended further research to look at combination therapy. A group in Iran have done the following trial looking at sustained release combination T4/T3. Fascinating…… it suggests that daily sustained release capsules can deliver a stable T3 level over
