Advice please on blood results please - confused - too much levo?
Hi everyone. It's taken me a while to get it together to write this post and I apologise in advance for its length. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's in May 2023 and since then had regular blood tests and given very small increases in Levothyroxine from 25 up to 100 ug in April 2024. My June 2024 blood

So my sister has just found that she has haemochromatosis...
I've nagged her to follow up on her high ferritin results for the last year or so, though GP seemed disinterested with it above 700 so I sent her to give blood which bought it down to 400. Since then we have successfully got her GP to acknowledge her Hypothyroidism and prescribe T4 and I got her to

Hello 🌷 Please may I ask how much HRT are ladies on? Last night I accidentally left my old Evorel patch on (1 put a new one on every 3.5 days instead of the 3 day /4 day combo) and put on the new one. I realised it this morning and took the old one off. I guess it was still giving me oestrogen because

Advice on my non-existent TSH Please
I had radio iodine treatment 5 years ago after having Graves. I am on 75 and 100 Levothyroxine on alternate days (a low dose I know). I was given additional T3 med lythothyronine 18 months ago, 5 mg twice daily which improved my quality of life no end. My thyroid levels have been fairly steady over

Hey everyone, So I had unprotected sex around first week of march. A few days later I got my period, but my period was much lighter than normal. I didn't think anything of it. But ever since period has finished I've got lower abdomen pain, back ache, my breasts seems to look fuller, my smelling sense

could someone please help me with regard to raising up my thyroid meds , which is proving uncomfortable?
My blood test results which were done at the end of June were as follows. TSH 0.01 T4. 15.8 (12.0-22.0) T3. 4.6. (3.1-6.8) As you can see my T3 is very low, so I am trying to increase my current Armour Thyroid by a 1/2 of a 1/4 grain tablet. Only a small amount but it is giving me some uncomfortable

Blood test results advice since starting T3
Just got my medichecks results through. Tests taken pre 9am, fasted with delayed T4 and split T3 dose as per protcol. To recap, I added 1 x 5mcg T3 for the first time about 8 weeks ago. Endo told me to reduce my thyroxine from 125 x 6/100x1 . I didnt do this, but reduced half way and have been taking

Has anyone felt worse when first adding T3?
Hello All, I've recently added 5mcg T3. 6 weeks later I felt awful (exhausted, brain fog) and blood test confirmed my T4 had lowered so I increased my levo from 137.5 to 150 and kept the T3 at 5mcg. At the same time, I increased my estrogen, which I now know was a mistake to do at same time because

My Story with Hashimoto'S and Delusional PMT
Hello, first of all it was good to have found this group. 🙂 Sometimes I feel alone and crazy, because I go for a test and it's "Okay." I'm from Portugal and I take Eutirox 112mg. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's in 2018, but the test values were not high enough to take medication. (TSH, T4 and T3

Source of NDT or T3?
Looking for some advice. I’ve been having hypothyroid symptoms for years, with FT3 at the very bottom end and often below range the few times I got the doctor to test it. Morning oral temp at 35.8-36.0C Only a couple of times did it approach 50% of range and that was using desiccated thyroid supplements

I have a niggly right hand pain, feel full very quick and not eating
