Any advice welcome as really struglling physically and mentally. I have been really struggling the last few days with being beyond tired more than normal 😭 I am currently waiting to see specilist privately but my appointment isn't until the 1st August. I published my resent blood results on here and was told I have hashimoto's but my gp didn't have a clue so awaiting to see specialist.
I have had some more blood work back as my Ferritin was low at 13. So I asked for a full Iron blood works to be done as recommend.
The results are as follows.
Ferritin 13
Serum iron 17 range 10-30
Serum transferrin 3 range 2.0-4.0
Transferrin saturation 22.6% range 20-50.
Serum cortisol 500 nmol
Serum selenium 1.01 0.75-1.46
Free T3 4.4 3.5-6.5
My last thyroid results for T4 was 11.1 range 11.5-22.
Antibodies was 1260
I was prescribed iron tablets before these tests which I didn't take until after so I've been taking them now for 9 days.
Also taking b complex gluten free
B12 spray
D3 AND K2 SPRAY
vit c effervescent.
I am ridiculously tired the last few days have anxietyand quite shaky. I have noticed a connection between sugar . I have started to go gluten free also even though to be honest I hardly eat gluten and haven't eaten bread in years.
Any help welcomed

Like you I’ve had problems for years, sometimes haemaglobin other times likely my ferritin but that wasn’t routinely tested (☹️🫣) so it was confusing to be told haemaglobin ok when I felt so exhausted as you explain. I’m now taking the three arrows heme I take one a day and feel ok on it. It is working as my ferritin went up a whole three points in a month! (Forgive sarcasm but after sooo many years of being mistreated and not realising I’m working frantically to improve things for the rest of my (hopefully) many years) your ferritin is really low bless you and your transferrin saturation indicates iron deficiency. Could account for the shakiness. In desperation when feeling thus, I’ve resorted to chocolate (probably for the sugar) but it’s only a short term fix as we know!
I was a veggie of 40 years but eat occasional beef now and I’ve started making my own chicken liver pate which is quick and easy. The bought stuff actually only contains about 30-35% chicken liver! I’m learning to actually enjoy it as I know it’s what my system needs! Worth a try
Your thyroid results are also bottom of the range and I’ve learned in here you need to be well through the range and a good ferritin level is necessary for the thyroid to function well.
Good luck, as someone who’s had iron issues most of her adult like I feel your pain. 🤗💜
