I have read from reliable sites that this can be a reaction to Eylea. Has anyone had this experience?

This has been controlled very well over the years with Eylea injections approximately 12 weekly - sometimes longer as it is difficult to get appointments. I have had 30+ injections in each eye during that time.

I have wet macular degeneration in both eyes and have been getting Eylea shots for about 8 yrs. I am wondering if anyone has had to have a head head CT scan and is it dangerous with wet macular degeneration. Thank you.

Hello, Has anybody ever received an Eylea injection 3 weeks following the previous one? Any experience with this reduced gap? I am not a doctor but the information I always received and found online indicate a suggested gap of 4 weeks, unsure what the side effects would be with a reduced gap.

I have had 5 eylea injections in my right eye for wet amd. Everytime I have an injection, I begin experiencing joint pain, body wide, swelling of the ankles and lower legs, stiffness especially after sitting or laying down!

Because of the danger of bradycardia posed by Timolol, my new ophthalmologist, who now gives me my Eylea shots for AMD, prescribed Latanoprost eye drops instead for my glaucoma. These drops are used once a day at bed time.

I have wet AMD in both eyes, and have been been receiving shots for same for many years - currently Eylea. I have recently seen a cardiologist who wants to put me on a BP med, Losartan. I am concerned that BP meds such as Losartan might worsen AMD. Any thoughts?

I have been having Eylea injections into both eyes for the past six years (approx. 60 in all) for macular degeneration and my eyesight has been very well preserved. I am due to get both eyes injected on Thursday and I am not sure how safe this is with the raised platelets.

During the last six years I have been having Eylea injections for macular degeneration in both eyes (somewhere about 60 injections altogether). My eyeslght has been well maintained on this as I can still read (with slight difficulty) down to the bottom of the chart.

Anyway he changed me to Vabysmo from Eylea because apparently he said had stopped working. I had to have an injection straight away because of the fluid. Does anyone know why a blocked blood vein needs monitoring. I forgot to ask the consultant.

We are confused if his Anti VEGF injection should be Eylea or Vabysmo? we are not in a position to take any risk yet any vision improvement is a big plus for us. Any advise would be really appreciated. Thank you. Warm Regards, Vik

Since then, on 60mg Edoxaban, 2.5mg Bisoprolol fumerate, 20mg Lisinopril, and 4 weekly injections of Eylea into my eye. All has been ticking over fine.

Hi all I have had injections monthly since 2011 for DMO I had Avastin then Lucentis and then since 2016 Eylea. Last Saturday I was switched to Faricimab it’s def thicker than Eylea.

For years I was receiving shots of Eylea by a doctor that I trusted completely. About 3 years ago I moved and it was just too far to travel to continue seeing this great doctor. I then continued Eylea injections with a new Retina man.
