A renowned retinal specialist based in the US, Dr Kenneth Fan will join us this month to discuss the increased dose of licensed drug Eylea (aflibercept) to treat wet age-related macular degeneration and diabetic macular oedema.

Dr Fan will talk more about the trials which have led to the increased 8mg dose, which could extend intervals between injections up to five months for patients.

Eylea 8mg was approved for use by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) in the UK earlier this month.

Find out more on how this new treatment could reduce the burden of regular injections for patients. This My Macular and Me webinar will be taking place live at 7pm on Tuesday 20 February.
