I had my first Eylea shot almost 2 weeks ago. I caught the problem early and it was diagnosed as Neovascular AMD with Active CNV OD. For the first week after the shot I was noticing that the grey area that blocked my right vision was located to the left of my nose so I really didn't see it too much. Now, almost two weeks later it has moved more to the center of my vision and makes it more difficult to see. Anyone know why it would move? Could it possibly be the swelling and fluid going down and then the grey blob just moves down with it? My vision was actually better before this happened. Any suggestions or thoughts on whether this will change or if I will just have to live with it?

Question about grey spot in central vision

I think I would be tempted to ring the secretary of your ophthalmologist and ask her to find out if this should be looked at. Good luck.
Thank you! I am so afraid of this condition and don't really know what to expect.
I understand. I'm wondering if your eye hospital has any leaflets on this condition or maybe the Macular Society may have. You could email one of the admins whose email address you can get from the bottom of the page if you're on a phone or on the right (I think) if a computer. Also, someone on this forum may also have the condition and maybe will reply when they see the post. Easier said than done I know but try not to worry too much. All the best.

Dear SkeetChif,
It is important that you contact your ophthalmologist at the hospital eye clinic, via their secretary, with your concerns . It is very important to always report any apparent deterioration in vision.
Kind regards,
