My AMD was treated first with Avastin injections but had a rare reaction and was changed to Eylea HD. Now I have a rash that has spread with severe itch. Dermatologist has ruled out every known skin condition and biopsies are negative for cancer. I have read from reliable sites that this can be a reaction to Eylea. Has anyone had this experience?

Did anyone else get an itching rash after receiving Eylea HD?

Good morning. I have had numerous Eyelea injections and to date have never had a rash afterwards.
Hello, i have been having Eyelea injections for quite a few years, and have never had a rash resulting from them. Best wishes.
Hi Koko2040I have begun to link my aching joints, and itchy skin to the Eylea injection. There is a flare-up of both a few days in. This lasts for around 3 weeks. I haven't got a rash, however. I have bought beef tallow balm online which soothes the itching instantly. Lavender scented! Good luck to you.
No rash, but a mild itching to eye for up to a day. I am on Eylea HD, but am going back to the lower dose (2ml) as the HD made no improvement.
Hi Koko2040. I had an Eyelea injection two days ago and have been watching to see if I had a rash afterwards. No I haven’t. Best wishes to you.x
are you sure it’s not a reaction to iodine? . I have an alternative as started with runny nose streaming eyes and red puffy face?
hi koko. I have been on eylea both eyes for 5 years. Recently had my first injection of the high dose version. Two large itchy lumps on breast bone area next day. Realised that the mysterious tiny itchy spots around my waist area, which appeared seemingly at random over last five years, have been connected to my injections. Mystery solved. Good to have your input. Thanks.
