Norgeston mini pill
Hi Ladies, Is any one taking Norgeston mini pill for PCOS? Is it any good? It contains Levonorgestrel (the same as the Mirena coil). I have read it can cause headaches, Acne/skin reactions and weight gain, irregular periods/heavy periods - has anyone experienced this? I am undecided if I should try

Mirena coil totally opposite experience before kids then after
Hey guys I got my mirena coil put in just over 3 months ago. I had one in about 4 years ago that worked really well for me. It was fairly uncomfortable but I forgot to take my painkillers so my fault really and this was before my children. Afterwards I got period like pains that last the rest of the

The many symptoms of endo...
Quick reference symptom checker: Generalised pelvic/lower abdominal pain/discomfort that can be severe (cyclical or chronic) - burning, aching, cramping, pressure, heaviness. Random sudden pains often associated with movement - stabbing, shooting, pulling, ripping. Painful and/or heavy periods often

Does Progynova cause lighter periods?
Hi Everyone, I had a hysteroscopy in November where some mild scar tissue was found and they also said I had a narrower than usual uterus (might explain multiple miscarriages). They corrected this and the doctor then put me on 3 cycles of progynova/cyclogest before starting a fresh round of IVF (progynova

Endometriosis and/or POCS?
Hi, I am currently under the gynaecologist, who thinks I have endometriosis. My symptoms include painful, heavy and irregular periods, pain during and after sex and bleeding from my back passage whilst I’m on my period. We are currently talking about having the laparoscopy, however when I was in A&E

Undiagnosed but starting to think it's adenomyosis
I've been having severe symptoms for over a year now and the only 'treatment' I've had is tricycling the combined pill. This has taken the agony of the periods down a few notches but to be honest my most worrying symptoms persist. When my symptoms first started I kept getting some random bits of bleeding

I just wanted to ask if I'm taking alot of Progesterone could I still come on my period so soon after FET? 2 pressaries and 1 Lubion per day. I feel like I'm about to get my period any day now .. not just because of the slight period cramps but mainly my mood. I'm very emotional, moody, few spots and

Hello all!
Hi everyone I'm new on here and have previously never been on any kind of forum so I'm a complete novice at this all. I just wanted to say a 'hello' to everyone on here and was wondering if anyone could give me some helpful tips and advice on how I can cope on a day to day basis with my endometriosis

Periods are lighter after ivf cycles so should I do natural FET instead of medicated ?
Hi I'm due to have a FET soon. My clinic says there's no difference in success between medicated and natural fets. I've had a medicated (negative result) due to irregular cycles. But my cycle is more regular now. I'm thinking about trying a more natural cycle - main reason I was thinking of this is

Pain after pelvic exam
Hi, I saw my gynae today for the first time in about 6 years. I have been having increasingly painful periods over the past 6 months (they have always been bad but now they are worse). I am 34 and mid cycle at the moment. Has anyone else experienced pain after an examination? My doctor was lovely, she

The Pill and getting pregnant
I came off the pill completely 3 weeks ago after being on it for the past 5 years and having no periods at all during this time. I still haven’t got my period that I was expecting after not having one for 5 years (I was expecting very painful cramps and heavy flow) but have had nothing so far. As well

Light periods after failed IVF
Hi guys, Its been almost 3months since my first fresh cycle of IVF failed, my periods are all weird and its worrying me - is this normal even after all this time? My bleed after the failed cycle was really heavy, passing clots as to be expected. I came on (what i thought was my period) bang on 30 days

Experiences of coming off combined pill with PCOS?
Hi fellow pcos girls, I was diagnosed with PCOS nearly two years ago now, and have been on the Lucette combined pill since. Although it does give me regular periods, I’ve been seriously thinking about coming off of it recently. I find that my periods are more painful with worse PMS, and that my hair

effective painkillers for period pain?
Has anyone found any painkillers that help with extreme period pain, either from endo or not? I know it is not the ideal solution but just to get over pain when it is at it's worst ?
