Its been almost 3months since my first fresh cycle of IVF failed, my periods are all weird and its worrying me - is this normal even after all this time?
My bleed after the failed cycle was really heavy, passing clots as to be expected. I came on (what i thought was my period) bang on 30 days (normal for me) after that, but it was really light (could have gotten away with 1 panty liner all day) and lasted about 8 days which is unusual for me - i’m normally done in 3-4. Then 12 days after this, had another very similar ‘period’ long and incredibly light. Ive now started ‘bleeding’ well, spotting! On day 28, so still a little early for me, but again, 1 panty liner all day and there’s just a tiny smudge on it basically!
TMI but they’ve all smelt more than normal initially although this goes after a few days.
Any ideas? I’m not pregnant. Currently waiting for a loan to clear to pay access fertility to start my next cycle at a private clinic so ‘technically’ not under anyone yet. I’m thinking of phoning my GP Monday. Please help! x

Hi Sunshine. Nothing like an IVF cycle to upset your hormones! Give yourself another couple of months, then if still not right, see your GP. You may need some medication to "kick start" you back properly again. Good luck! Diane
My 3rd cycle since the last ivf icsi was also out of whack. It took 72 days before I came on. My acupuncturist helped me with it and it took a few sessions too.
Wow , congratulations 🎊 I think only last cycle was light.. this one apparently was spotting and I got it today...
I haven’t been lucky for two years , every rare bad things happened to me past 2 years.my partner has given up already .. however I don’t cancel my appointment as I want to know if my dr has different plans for next cycle. I just need some luck🥺
