I had a hysteroscopy in November where some mild scar tissue was found and they also said I had a narrower than usual uterus (might explain multiple miscarriages). They corrected this and the doctor then put me on 3 cycles of progynova/cyclogest before starting a fresh round of IVF (progynova for 21 days 6mg and cyclogest 400mg on day 16- 21 followed by 7 days break). I have just completed my 2nd cycle and have noticed my periods are quite a bit lighter than usual (this time just 2 days of light bleeding).
From my understanding the progynova should have been thickening my lining to help prevent any more scar tissue forming so I was expecting my periods to be heavier if anything. Has anyone else experienced this?
Any feedback appreciated, thanks!

Hey Louise! I have just done a couple of medicated cycles for different reasons but I wouldnt worry too much about your periods. Because it's all medically induced your periods are lighter. I guess it's a little bit like being on the pill. Yes, you're right the progynova/estrogen is to prevent further scarring from surgery whilst healing. Good luck.xx
Thank you, that is reassuring. Hard not to worry about every little thing.......hoping my uterus and lining is doing the right things and will be in better shape for the next transfer!
Every part of this is a worry isnt it, there's no getting away from it!🙄 My lining is a pain in the ass so know how that one feels. Not be too long until you can start your next cycle now.xx
