Hi all , hope your all doing ok .

I'm on mtx injections 20mg once a week

Plaquenil 2 times a day plus the usual that comes with this stuff, so last rhuemy visit he says it's not working for me so going onto Enbrel but need to wait till September for the six mths on mtx etc is up to be approved so that is all fine. It is what it is however, seeing as the other meds aren't working I'm still have almost the same level of pain and I have put on a tonne of weight since diagnosis I'm thinking why not quit the meds if they not doing anything and tough it out till September for the Enbrel.. what's the point of jabbing myself and taking all this stuff if not working .. comments anyone ?

There’s not working, and there’s not working enough...... what do your blood results show? Has there been any change? You might find if you stop that things get worse.

Also if 6 months would be September that suggests that you’ve only been on them for 2 months? Which is well early to decide its not working at all. With some people it takes the full 6 months to really make a difference.
