I’m Self isolating but should my daughter still go to school?
Hi All, Hope everyone is keeping well. I’m sure lots of people are asking the same thing...but sorry I couldn’t find the answer. I have RA and take Enbrel, methotrexate and prednisone. Currently in a bad flare after having a baby 7 months ago and was due to change meds to Rituximab which I imagine will

Immunosuppressive drugs and COVID-19
I’d appreciate knowing how others are thinking and feeling if taking immunosuppressive drugs for their RA. My Rheumatologist suggested I extend the time between Enbrel injections to give my immune system a chance to recover after a typical Winter of URTIs. I don’t know how long I’ll manage without

Working Overseas - acquiring Enbrel for family member
Good evening, Planning to travel overseas next year and work in Europe. My daughter uses Enbrel injections for her arthritis. In Australia our health care and medical benefits cover the cost of her injections. Purchase of subsequent injections is possible but expensive in other countries. Any suggestions

Yes a New Drug after 16 years on Enbrel
Enbrel has had to be discontinued after two spells of Heart Failure which has fully reverted to good output since stopping the drug. Now to start Baricitnib 4mgs and hope this medication works as well as the Enbrel which had not stopped working in 16 years. I have read quite a few reviews but know like

Well today..hopefully a new drug
After having two spells of heart Failure a year apart , the professionals think the cause is linked to Enbrel as when drug is stopped the heart and lungs show good output. So have been off Enbrel this time since 13th November. I had been on it 16 years. Today I see The Consultant with hopeful news to

Hair loss / thinning
Hi everyone, I’ve just joined this group, apologies if this has already been asked / discussed. I’m 29 and was diagnosed with RA when I was 16. I take Enbrel injection every 2 weeks. Over the last year or so I’ve noticed my hair thinning and have bald patches. Has anyone else noticed this and can recommend

Benepali & dizziness
Hi everyone, I was switched to Benepali from Enbrel back in July. Since the beginning of the year I’ve been having dizzy spells and vertigo and wondered if anyone else had experienced this or if this had nothing whatsoever to do with the drug! I’m not due to see my rheumatologist til mid April but will

Rheumatoid arthritis and diabetes,
Hi, I have rheumatoid arthritis and diabetes. The RA is under control with Enbrel and I have been place on insulin for the diabetes. Heart Failure due to Biologic therapy
I have been off Enbrel for 2nd time now due to a Heart failure incident almost a year to day after having the same. My Rheumatologist at time said there was not a link so started back on drug January last year. He has again told me to stop drug after again having problems in November 19. On both occasions

Winter Blues
I inject Erelzi nee Enbrel for my RA which was diagnosed when I was 22 I am now almost 73. I am fine apart for the odd flare up for most of the year but I suffer from colds and chest infections throughout the winter months. I suppose this is down to the fact that the immune system is suppressed. Does

FET Drugs arrived
I have three boxes of
Evorel
(used those before too) but has anyone ever made use of Crinone 8% vaginal gels before or Inhixia . There is something also called Lubion which I believe is the intramuscular progesterone. Need some advice on drugs and/or side effects if any?

Tocilizumab or Baricitinib?
HI -- I've had RA for 14 years, diagnosed at 40. Have had a great partnership with Enbrel for over 10 years. They changed me on to Humira, an equivalent (as an NHS cost-saving). Not sure if that interfered with my condition, but suffered with swelling and pain, in every joint. This has been ongoing since

Does anyone have any experience of requesting a change back from Benepali to Enbrel?
My RA was classified as being in remission when I was using Enbrel with Lefulnomide but having been switched over to Benepali around 2 years ago I have found my disease returning to how it was when it originally started (pain in feet, knees, hands). I told my rheumatologist at least a year ago that I

Flu jab?
Hi everyone, I'm due to start enbrel at the end of November, currently on sulpha, and was just wondering because of this should I be getting a flu jab? Doc had told me last year I didn't really need it while on sulpha as there was no major impact on immunity with it but I'm wondering will that change
