Switch to Humira from Enbrel

Hi! I have been on Enbrel for 18 months and now I am having eye problems and constant sinus problems too. Switched rheumatologists and I will start Humira soon. Has anyone have problems with Enbrel?

I was talking Embrel, until last week, as due to stopping the injections, couldn't reacat to them as I was fine with them before,Body was saying it is an alian in the body, so I didn't get a good response to it, where as before they were fine. Body was rejecting it.

Interested to hear exactly what eye and sinus problems.... if you don’t mind me asking?

Uveitis. I had to go to the eye doctor and get eye drops with prednisone to treat it. I am congested and my left sinus is clogged up. When I had to get off Enbrel for 10 days because I had an UTI and was taking antibiotics I didn't have any sinus problems. My left eye got immflamed as soon as I resumed Enbrel.

Yes. I developed Uveitis after being in Enbrel for 10 years. Now on a Humira, no problems. Good luck.

Yes! I had to switch to Humira because Enbrel caused issues with my eyes. Humira worked for a year and I had to switch to Actemra due to issues with my lungs.
