Ring Any Bells?

I had a really good day on Tuesday. Felt the best I've felt in 12 months.

Spent most of the say trying to figure out why:

Did I take my painkillers before or after my turmeric?

What did/didn't I eat?

Was it an immediate effect from Enbrel on Sunday?

What time did I take my amytriptilene.

Is last week's steroid jab finally kicking in?

Am I less stressed than I was?

Was it the weather?

Is there an R in the month?

Then spent the rest of the day worrying that I'd do something to spoil it and feel rubbish on Wednesday!

Why can't we just enjoy the reprieve, however short lived it may be?

I agree with enjoy the reprieve :) Be mindful and just accept it gracefully. We all have far too many variables (drugs, vitamins etc) - makes it impossible what might be responsible for the good feeling, cheers Deb :)

Enjoy the good times and long may it last. ! I had a few really really good weeks in March and, just as you did, I spent time trying to work out what the magic bullet had been. Then 3 weeks ago started a huge flare , all joints , back to square one. Then i spent ages trying to work out why that had happened ??!! I've come to the conclusion that it is imposdible to know and that RA/D is unfathomable, mysterious and unpredictable. And vvvvv frustrating !!!

Laughed right out loud at your post -- just so funny and true!!! I feel like I want to make a spreadsheet or chart or something to track wtf I am doing and then rating pain levels accordingly to sort of scientifically or mystically find the exact alchemical components to feeling good/having a great RA day.

Thanks, I'm pleased someone else knows what it's like. Touch wood, still feeling OK and trying not to over think it😊

I have had enbrel for quite a few years now but was asked to have benepali which really made me ill. Enbrel is really good for me (touch wood)
