From PC diagnosis to Penile Implant (A 2 year journey)

High LH and Oestradiol
Does anyone else have these high? LH (Luteinising hormone) I just got some bloods done privately as i thought i had a thyroid problem due to high TSH on previous tests. Went through medichecks to get a female hormone test which included the above plus thyroid expecting to see something thyroid related

Tired
I'm soo tired, physically and mentally😔.I have issues with my Testosterone levels [1 of many women] and I'm on meds for it. The problem is, it increase my anxiety and I'm literally psychotic. Lashing out even when nobody is around. My days for the Last month are exhausting because it fluctuates.

Hormone imbalance
I’m new here, age 47. After a blood test I have a confirmed hormone imbalance. My progesterone to Estrogen levels are at a ratio of 38, it’s says it should be between 100-500. So I am Estrogen dominant. I have middle area weight gain, hot flashes, brain fog, insomnia, night sweats, moodiness and more

New member looking for advice on bio-identical vs synthetic HRT
New member, desperately looking for some help and input as I am getting conflicting advice from doctors. 51 years old, first period started two months before my 12th birthday, periods have always been regular but extremely heavy (lasting 8-10 days on average) causing anemia for which I´ve been taking

Is testosterone treatment the only solution for very low libido?
Meds like Viagra and Cialis don't deal with low libido. With the right stimulation I might not even need them. Is testosterone treatment the only solution for that? I'm 72 and in good health. Viagra worked fairly well over the last two years. When I began those meds my testosterone tested as "normal

Pain flare prophylaxis--Dr. Sartor high testosterone therapy--
Greetings. I am aware that Dr. Sartor, sometimes, does give high testosterone therapy for men with MCRPC. If a patient has bone mets, but no pain symptoms, is it possible to use Dexamethasone as pain flare prophylaxis? I am aware that men with bone mets often get Dexamethasone to possibly avoid having

Post Menopause and exhausted
Hi all I am new on this forum and I would like to pick the brains of those with more knowledge than myself. I am exhausted and have been some time, I had an early menopause which I appeared to sail through aged 43 and I am now 62. Because I was exhausted I saw a private Dr who after testing diagnosed

DHEA
Hi ladies. Are any of you taking DHEA. Did you have your testosterone levels checked before. Any success stories. I think my egg quality is pants (but I am also turning 40) so it could be anything! But I need to do something to improve my egg quality before next cycle in September. I have a nutritionist

Gynaecomastia (man boobs)
Do any of you men have this condition? I've read that liver disease can cause this (imbalance of testosterone and oestrogen) but it can also be a side effect of Spironolactone diuretic medication. I have cirrhosis and also take Spironolactone for pitting oedema in my lower legs and feet (the medication

Is there sex after ADT?
A good review article on the current state of our knowledge, focussing on the entire spectrum of sexual enjoyment and not just erectile function. They make clear that the enjoyment of sex is a product of many factors, including pre-ADT sexual function, habitual sex frequency, testosterone (amounts needed

Fast testosterone recovery after Zytiga mono-therapy.
I stopped Lupron June 2019 and remained on Zytiga alone. One 500mg dose with breakfast. Testosterone rose slowly, approximately 10-20 per month. My guess is 500mg Zytiga with breakfast and dinner might hold testosterone down but I didn't test this. My PSA continued undetectable. In June 2020 with PSA

Leg Cramps - could it be ADT?
I've been on ADT for 6 months, and I'm in the gym 5 times a week to try to ward off muscle loss. I've noticed that I'm getting muscle cramps at night, really badly (Last night was agony, first one calf, than an hour later, the other one....) I take about 400 mg of Magnesium every day (powdered form)
