Is there sex after ADT?

A good review article on the current state of our knowledge, focussing on the entire spectrum of sexual enjoyment and not just erectile function. They make clear that the enjoyment of sex is a product of many factors, including pre-ADT sexual function, habitual sex frequency, testosterone (amounts needed vary widely), erectile function, partner enthusiasm, sexual aid use, non-penetrative intimacy, physical fitness, sleep, masculine self-image, depression, and novelty.

Many comments on how things for gay and bisexual men can be different (e.g., greater importance, ejaculation, openness to sex aids and novelty)

I thought there was a thread on this board by the same title with experiences of several gents in discovering they were functional through trying to pleasure their loved ones. I'd like to find it again.

I've had conversation with one of the authors of the study, Dr. Erik Wibowoa, and the Dr. Richard Wassersug cited in the article, relating my experience with being sexually active while on a 6 month ADT treatment.

There is another study at

academia.edu/15052781/Vasoa...

which seems to indicate testosterone is not needed for sexual function, just the fuel in the fire.

"Chemical castration induced erectile function deterioration in 70% of patients due to loss of sexual interest and confidence in the ability of having an erection rather than reduced ability of obtaining sexually induced erections."

Failed due to lack of proper expectation setting.
