Advice on some strange blood test results!
Hi all I hope you’re doing well! I’m writing on this forum to get some advice on a number of strange blood test results and symptoms I’ve been experiencing. Just for context, I’m a 26 year old cycling female with normal regular periods. Since the last year I noticed substantial weight gain (1 stone

Waiting for Mr. T
I had an interesting development this week in my PCa journey. I went in for my quarterly hospital visit, which would normally include blood tests, meeting with my medical oncologist, and my last 3-month injection of Eligard. Blood tests were great, PSA and testosterone still undetectable. My MO decided

Are bone and CT scans required quarterly if PSA and testosterone are basically zero and no symptoms?
I have stage IV prostate cancer with a spot on my lung being the only known spread of my cancer. After my chemo regimen, my CT and bone scans have been clean for a year now. And my blood work is perfect at the moment. I am on Zytiga and getting a Lupron shot quarterly. My doc still wants

cheap an ingenious, I don’t know if normal oral gamma-oryzanol is safe for us as it’s also a testosterone stimulant… https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2024/04/240422120640.htm

High Testosterone-panicking
Had my bloods tested to see how my testosterone levels are after starting testosterone gel (also on Estrogel and Utrogestan) and apparently my levels are 4.5, 3 times what they should be. GP plans to write to the consultant to see how we should go forward but to be honest I'm panicking I've done myself

3 Abiraterone tabs in place of 4.
Warriors Some time back I posted that my MO had told me to take 3 Abiraterone tablets with 5 mg Prednisone daily instead of 4 to help with an out of control Blood Pressure problem. I was worried (as were some of the responses) that this could impact the ADT therapy. Recently had blood work done

Testosterone Recovery: Orgovyx vs Lupron, Part-II
Here's another plot summarizing data from a 2020 paper in the New England Journal of Medicine by Neil Shore, et al. that shows Orgovyx has much faster "ON" and "OFF" changes in testosterone levels, compared to Lupron. This plot compares the percentage of men who recover their testosterone (defined

Hello. Am now in year 10. Details in profile. For 2+ years have been taking Zoladex, Zytiga and Prednisolone. The CT bone scans and Nuclear medicine full body scans every 6 months show no radiographic progression and I feel ok, apart from fatigue when not active. Recently have some discomfort

BILLY NEEDS HELP
OK troops, after 26 years of surviving post prostectomy, with a Gleason 4/3, 4/4, some 41 rounds of intermittent hormone therapy using lupron, casadex, advodart, I had a break thru last November as my psa went back up mid on cycle. After having my radiation oncologist ignore the realities of this, I

Has anyone had their testosterone tested before starting DHEA? My GP kindly tested mine and it's 0.4nmol/l. The lovely Google tells me this is low for fertility so I would probably benefit from DHEA after all. I was concerned about taking too much on the 75mg dose.

I've been on coumadin for almost 11 years for a heart valve replacement and Orgovyx for about 2 years and three months for metastatic prostate cancer. I just had my first bone scan in August 2022 and a second Dec. 8, 20203, and bone less is progressing. I've been using estradiol patches for about 10

The struggle is over for my husband at 64
My beautiful husband succumbed to complications from prostate cancer this morning at 4:21 AM. Addison's disease
I stopped taking Abiraterone three months ago to have a vacation. Was on it for six years. I tapered of the prednisone. I became very fatigued. Could hardly do anything in the morning and then limited things in the afternoon. then I thought of my low cortisol level (due to the abi) a couple years ago

PSA in again at undetectable which I am assuming means my testosterone is not recovering . No T result yet but 0.5 last month! Still on Apalutamide as a monotherapy but coming off that too is bouncing around my head. Would love to go med free, still watching all developments and still no idea of the

Month 5 of ORGOVYX
After radical prostatectomy and radiation treatment, I’m now on ORGOVYX and my testosterone has decreased from 672 to 11. I’ll be coming off the medication in one month. If anyone has used ORGOVYX, do you stop cold turkey or is there a tapering off of the drug? Thank you.
