Here's plot from a 2020 paper in the New England Journal of Medicine by Neil Shore, et al. that shows Orgovyx has much faster "ON" and "OFF" changes in testosterone levels, compared to Lupron.

Do you know the cost comparison between the two? Side effects comparison?

Lupron is considerably cheaper, from $150 to $350 with a GoodRx coupon per month. Relugolix (Orgovyx) is more expensive, $2680 for a 30 day supply (with no insurance). There may be manufacturer coupons available for a while.

I think side effects of Orgovyx are somewhat less than Lupron, but both chemically castrate you, and having no testosterone causes all sorts of havoc in the body.

Yeah, I was on eligard for 6 months. I don't think they list this as a side effect but after that 6 months as a eunuch I ended up with Peyronies, which I was able to successfully treat with supplements after Xiaflex, the pharmacy touted remedy, failed.
