Low Testosterone - Help with going private
I have finally been diagnosed with Low Testosterone after being around the low end of normal for years. Whilst I want the problem sorted I want to make sure that the doctor is open and willing to prescribe TRT if it is necessary. I also want one that is willing to listen to me and not be totally fixated

Endometrial lining too thin.
Arrgg! Lining check on day 10 was 7mm. Doctor said it's not good enough for frozen ET. Wants to see me again in 2 days time. Added patches and increased estradiol pill dosage. How likely is lining to thicken in just 2days? Any experience will really help. Thanksx

What to do now?
My son has been on thyroxine for over a year now and TSH down from around 5 to about 2 but no improvement in fatigue. We have checked all vitamins and supplemented. He is taking Teva 100 and 75mg on alternate days. He is trying fluoxetine now too. Should we try coming off thyroxine if not helping.

Lab results variation on Testosterone
I had two MD appointments, and each MD ordered a Testosterone check. I took both orders to my usual lab to get a single blood draw for both lab orders. The standard T test done by the onsite lab showed T = 262. The "advanced" T test (which also include Free T) was done by an offsite lab and showed T

Gleason score increase, now what?
Husband was diagnosed with Prostate cancer in Sept with a Gleason score of 7, post op his score increased to 9. What should we be looking to do next? The doctor took 17 lymph nodes and there was nothing but it not confined to only the prostate as we thought it was. Wondering if he should be taking treatments

Weightlifting with Depression/SAD or Meds & ruined sport?
Hi all, I am a weightlifter - my sport is my number one coping mechanism for my depression and SAD. Throughout the winter months, my depression tends to get quite bad and with COVID this year it's definitely been a bit of a rollercoaster. I went on meds around March this year (Citalopram - a type

Questions to ask before seeing a GP
Hi all, I posted earlier in the summer. I can't find the post but in short - high TGaB antibodies, in range TPO - results at the time of posting last time (June) were from medichecks: TSH 2.66 (.27-4.2) FT3 3.8 (3.1- 6.8) FT4 12.9 (12-22) I did these tests on the basis of a £400 consultation with

Importance of Early Detection-Current Numbers
Early detection when the body is strong and the tumor burden is minimal are important in the treatment of genitourinary cancers! I make this statement as a man with a Gleason 7(4+3) at age 56; Stage 4 Metastatic PCa at 57; six month chemo - hormone therapy clinical trial with two different infusions

Help interpreting results 😞
Hi guys, Hopefully someone may be able to help. I had a thyroid test done the past week and been trying to get my head around results. I have Cushing's disease which is in remission, I also suffer from low testosterone which I supplement and have diabetes insipidus. I had the left half of my pituitary

Has anyone else experienced excessive clear watery discharge while taking Estradiol. It’s making me really uncomfortable and groggy. I’m 8 days in on 6mg a day.

Testosterone therapy & COVID-19

Oestradiol level
Hi, I've just had my oestradiol test back, day 16 of my cycle, at 336 pmol. I'm 47, probably perimenopause as cycles are all over the place. Now on day 20 and breast pain! Which I get a lot. Does that look ok? Still waiting on other Thyroid/hormone test results, initial tests indicate central hypothyroidism

Decreasing testosterone level
After chemo and radiation treatment for Gleason score of 9, 7 years ago for PC, my testosterone has since always been around 90-100, but recently it has dropped to 53. Any thoughts on how I can safely raise my testosterone level, or why it has dropped. Thanks for your help. Chuck

What dosage of estradiol patches to mitigate adt side effects
Reresearch indicates that the use of estridol patches while on adt may mitigate some of the side effects of adt. My question is on the dosage of estradiol patches. Does anyone have information or experience with the proper dosage of estradiol patches to reduce adt side effects ?
