Does Vaginal estriol cream effect the up take of T3 supplements?

Usually no, because taking it like that is bypassing the liver.

However, if you were very deficient, needing large amounts of oestrogen and had (unknown) excretion issues it is possible that the amount recycled could raise transporter proteins a little.

Thank you radd. I wouldn't be surprised if I had been very deficient in oestrogen. Don't know about the excretion issues. Do you mean in regards oestrogen?

I'm surprised the estriol doesn't make a difference to uptake of T3, as I have been sleeping most of the day since I began administering it, approx a week ago.

Or could it be that Estrogen helps the body use serotonin and other neurochemicals that assist sleep, so that I'm catching up on sleep I've missed out on?

Yes, excretion issues of oestrogen (can't remember which one) are very common.

I don't think oestrogen directly improves actual uptake of T3 (but it might 🤷‍♀️) but will definitely be helping in the great picture and if you are sleeping better, remember T3 is a neurotransmitter as well as a hormone so hugely influential on all brain circuitry.

Many members have said sleep issues have improved with the addition of T3. Mine didn't but T3 gave me the energy to exercise which helps me sleep. I know it influences the limbic system coz inially suffered low mood (low seratonin) upon medicating T3, that was alleviated by adding O & P. They all work together.
