Testosterone levels

Hi All recently had testosterone checked in Jan 21 .. it was 1.2. After finding out about immune issues I was put on prednisolone and intralipids fir 2 cycles of IVF .. unfortunately i did not respond at all on both cycles. I have jusy had day 3 bloods done again and my AMH has actually increased, and LH and FSH both are good, however my testosterone has dropped to below 0.01 ... I am assuming this is the cause of my poor IVF cycles and equally I am starting to think the prednisolone caused this shift in testosterone given it was so good at the start of the year?

Hi letro. Sorry to hear this. yes, it might be due to the prednisolone, as it is a steroid. Hopefully this will be taken into account when you try again. It may return back to normal on it's own once your body has recovered from the steroid use. Good luck! Diane
