Transdermal low dose patch Estradiol for ADT S.E.
Use it at all? start using it right away with Casodex/Lupron initial treatment or wait to see if you are having S.E. ? Does primary doc do this or ask RO/MO team?

What medication did you take for your FET?
My clinic is Spain is frustratingly bad at communication. We’re keen to do our FET on Nov before Christmas kicks in and air fares & hotels get ridiculously expensive. Please could you share what medication you were on pre-FET? I need to calm my mind in knowing that we’re ready to go when they are eventually

Slight Testosterone Increase While on Lupron/Zytiga
Hi all, I've been on Lupron/Zytiga for exactly 1 year. Testosterone went from 650 to <5ng/dl in that timeframe. Now, for the first time in 11 months my Testosterone went from <5 to <12ng/dl. I know that's not much of an increase but wondering if the ADT effectiveness is fading. Could be difference

Hypothyroidism and infertility
Hi. I was wondering if there is a connection between hypothyroidism and low lh FSH and estrogen/ progesterone/testosterone? My GP is extremely unhelpful at explaining these things to me, my periods have stopped and my thyroid levels are low alongside my female hormones. Is there a connection as in

Rise in testosterone
How concerned should we be if husband’s testosterone has risen from 3 to 34. (Diagnosed Stage 4/metastatic in Sept. 2017. Lupron/Zytiga/prednisone beginning in Jan.2018 and PSA has been undetectable since May 2018.) Last testosterone reading was November 2021. (It has been at 3 since 2019.) Test results

Iron deficiency
Is it common to have iron deficiency as a result of low testosterone? Is it unharmful to take iron supplements?

Shockwave Therapy and/or Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy for ED
Does anyone have any experience with these types of therapies for ED treatment? A local clinic that gives Testosterone shots (GameDay) is now pushing this combined therapy of shockwave and Platelet therapy for ED. Anyone ever tried these?

Normal total T, lowish free T
Here are the result readings: Total Testosterone: 654 ng/dl (264-892) Free
Testosterone
: 11.6 pg/mL (9.3-26.5)
Estradiol
: 21.7 pg/mL (11-43) I really don’t know what to make out of those results as I don’t have any problems associated with sex drive or erectile function.

Hey lucky me - I now have 2 cancers
I wrote about this 2 months ago and things have changed so I'm re-writing my post: It's important to note I skipped my May Lupron injection.
8/30 Mayo C11 Choline Pet scan:
1. New choline avid marrow occupying lesion in the mid right humerus likely represents metastaticdisease. Additional focus

UPDATE AFTER IMRT
Haven't posted in a while, but here's a quick update (My Bio has the full details from diagnosis to present.). After recovering from RALP in mid February I had my PSA checked in late May. PSA was 8.11 which led to my Urology Oncologist (UO) starting me on Casodex & Eligard, and ordering a GA-68 PSMA-PET

Prostate Cancer-Thoughts
My husband was diagnosed in January 2020 with prostate cancer that had metastasized to his bones. His PSA was 30 and after the biopsy it was 130. He has had radiation three different times, Firmagon, Zytiga and Prednisone. His testosterone is low and his PSA did get as low as 2 but then started rising

On Triplicate Therapy, Docetaxel, MO has made no suggestion to do PSMA Scan, CT Scan or MRI to see if treatment is working.
Diagnosed By PSA Score 942.40 July 2022 Advance Metastatic Prostate Cancer with Ductal subtype with focal cribform architecture in carcinoma (it is rare, unfortunately aggressive) 4 cores out of 15 with another questionable core with necrosis and questionable atypical cells Stage 4 Gleason

ADT Eligard
taking 6 months of Eligard. Taking 28 radiation treatments in first 3 months. if ADT Eligard starves prostrate cancer cells and reduces testosterone, what is rationale for continued use if radiation killed all cancer cells? Just wondering Thanks
