How long until I bleed after stopping norethisterone?
I've been on norethisterone for 9 months now and had 2 breaks whilst on it. I bled within 3-4 days of stopping it before but now it's been 7 days. I'm not on any other medication at the moment and am getting slightly worried about being pregnant! Is it possible that I am? We forgot I'd stopped taking

Saw my Endo today and... (Addison's Disease)
she has agreed to give me all of the tests people on this group have recommended so thank you all so much. I wouldn't have known what to ask for without your support. She does however seem very set on the ranges being set in stone and this is a little worrying. The reason she agreed to the additional

Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy
When one of my docs suggested adding a topical progesterone cream to help me through perimenopause, I agreed, gave it a whirl, and learned to love that cream! I had more energy, my mood stabilized and the frequency and severity of the a fibs which run in my Father's family was reduced. But after

test results, part 2: any help greatly appreciated
Hi again everyone, I have some further test results which I hope you would be able to advise me on. Apparently the ones that were lacking from last time (thyroid antibodies, free t3, b12 and iron) were just delayed. I did not manage to obtain a copy of my results for those, but when I spoke with

Anyone elses' boobs got smaller due to oestrogen suppression?
I got told by a GP a few years ago that oestrogen is what drives the size of your boobs. He said that women who have a lot of orgasms can see a change in breast size as orgasms make you release oestrogen. I've always been either a 34b or a 32c depending on the bra but since I've been taking my norethisterone

Giant blood clot? Warning TMI!!
Hi, I've been bleeding since saturday and it's been really weird. I shouldn't be bleeding anyway as I'm on norethisterone. At first it was really fresh looking blood with quite a bit of clear fluid but after the first day it's turned almost black and stringy. Rally sorry for TMI but I'm worried. Last

Breakthrough bleed with norethisterone?
I was put on norethisterone (the pill they give you to delay your period for a holiday) to take for 4 months. After 2 months I started feeling down and got a few migraines so the dr told me to only take 1 a day. The very next day my tummy bloated, the pain has come back although not quite as bad and

Stopping norethisterone so Mirena can take over
I have been taking norethisterone constantly with no breaks for over 2 years now and after having the Mirena fitted about 7 weeks ago, my consultant wanted me to continue taking it until my ultrasound. The ultrasound showed the Mirena to be in the right place and now he wants me to stop the norethisterone

Anybody else experienced this?
I'm in my first year of college and although I've not been formally diagnosed with endo it is suspected and I'm beimg treated for it. Over the exam period my GP gave me norethisterone to take. I started that about May 10th along with the tricyclic antidepressant amitriptyline (up to 30mg a day). The
