FET following hysteroscopy
Hi all, I hope you can help. I have a hysteroscopy next Tuesday (14th), I’ve had 0.5 of buserelin since day 21 of cycle to thin out lining in preparation and they’ve said I am to continue take for transfer rather than stopping and starting again. I’m not sure if I’ll also need to start taking estradiol

Premenopausal bloods and thyroid meds
Hi all Im having my blood taken at 9am to test my LH, FSH and Serum Oestradiol. Is it okay to still take my thyroid meds in the morning or should I take them after my bloods? Thanks :) Lindsay

Effects of estradiol on bone in men undergoing ADT
New Australian study below [1]. Seems a long time coming. ("6-month randomised, placebo-controlled trial") "In men, many effects of testosterone (T) on the skeleton are thought to be mediated by estradiol (E2), but trial evidence is largely lacking." "Relative to placebo, E2 treatment increases some

Anxiety is getting high... Don't know what to expect after FET
Just had our 1st FET 5 days ago. I'm not entirely sure about the number in front of the letters, I think they said 4BB. I know for sure it's BB and that it was a Day 5 embryo. I'm on estradiol and progesterone. Nothing else to remark, I'm not thinking about my symptoms since they're mostly irrelevant

Constant brown discharge
Hi All, my wife is 6dpt with a high grade 5 day embryo. This is our 2nd FET and previously we had 2 rounds of IUI, all failed. We have had the same symptoms everytime and our clinic don't seem to be concerned like we are. Basically by day 2/3 she starts to spot a very light pink / brown discharge. Then

Very painful period after stopping estradiol, what to do?
Hi, so we are having donor egg treatment abroad and have recently had a hysteroscopy and biopsies taken to check things out. The consultant said he'd seen an area that corresponds with adenomyosis which will explain my very heavy long periods I've been having. After the procedure I have taken 5 days

Progress made starting HRT
Hi Today a nurse has put me on HRT, Estradiol 0.06% gel and Utrogestan 100mg capsules. To be honest, I’m shocked, as the previous nurse I had a telephone conversation with was obsessed with getting my bloods done, and as the keys words were not mentioned by me as ‘no periods’, and ‘hot sweats’, I could

Estradiol?
Hi, I started Estradiol on Saturday x4 tabs a day for my first FET just wondered what symptoms and side affects people have had on them? Sorry for the TMI but they are giving me really bad belly(diarrhoea) is this normal? Nurse told me it doesn’t matter when I take the 4 Tabs but I’ve tried spreading

Brain/kidneys
Has anyone noticed weird pain / weird/numb/etc in back of your brain? On the Internet I was floored when I read where endo spreads and effects ….:it includes back of brain. 30 years ago I spent 1,200 cash (American ) plus whatever my insurance charged to have an MRI. It came back normal. A friend

Fed up with bleeding!
Hi I have been on Norethisterone, due to top in a few days, and also now on monthly Goserelin. Bleeding stopped when I first started Norethisterone but now flooding and lots of clots once again. Only been three weeks since first Goserelin injection. Anyone else suffering with bleeding and stomach

Estradiol test with same day result in Stockport area?
Hi magic ladies I’m having my donor treatments in Spain but need to be in the UK next week for family obligations. I need to take an Estradiol test next Thursday - I’ll be in Stockport near Manchester. Does anyone have any idea where I can get this done. Ideally draw bloods at 9am and have back by 1pm

Testosterone Injections
I recently had my blood sample taken and results reviewed by the Men's Health Clinic. They couldn't do anything for me because my testosterone levels were in the 'normal' range (specifics below). To be honest they didn't take me seriously from first contact due to me not being in the 50+ age bracket,

2 days until test date, naughty and did one today!
Hi all I had my second cycle but first frozen embryo transfer 05 May, with test date to be 16 May.. I did the very silly thing and tested today (two lines eek, trying not to get ahead of my self). I know with my first cycle I strictly didn’t test due to trigger injection still being in my system, however

We have reached castrate resistance...what to do next?
I have been following this forum for a couple of years now, and have learned so much from all of you. But this is my first time to post...I knew this time would eventually come, but somehow it still caught me off guard. Dad is now 75; he was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic prostate cancer December

Orgovyx and estradiol?
Howdy all, been following some discussions here about using estradiol patches with ADT and I was wondering if anyone is using estradiol with Orgovyx. I've been on Orgovyx for over 7 months now and my PSA has been undetectable so far and I feel I'm tolerating it well. See my profile for my full treatment

Dose for new to HRT
Hi. I have just been prescribed Estradiol in patch form. I have not started to use them I have been prescribed 50mg. On the webpage you recommended "menopause matters" it suggests starting on a low dose around 10mg. Anyone have any experience of what dose is usual for new users, as I am considering

Progesterone, Medichecks range for post menopausal women
Hi All, I am post menopausal, age 70 plus. I don't take any HRT currently, just thyroid hormones. I did a blood test to check out my sex hormones as per the advice in Paul Robinson's book 'The Thyroid Patient' manual'. Progesterone: 0.8 nmol/L (postmenopause <0.401) Oestradiol: <18.4 pmol

Four Year Transdermal Estradiol Update
Well, it's been four years since I started applying transdermal estradiol gel (tE2) as my mono-therapy and I'm quite happy with the results. My SOLE side effect is some degree of gynecomastia which is a 'small price to pay to keep the PC at bay'! Just a brief history, and yet another 'boob' pic (taken
