Hi all, I hope you can help. I have a hysteroscopy next Tuesday (14th), I’ve had 0.5 of buserelin since day 21 of cycle to thin out lining in preparation and they’ve said I am to continue take for transfer rather than stopping and starting again. I’m not sure if I’ll also need to start taking estradiol tablets soon and then how long it would be until transfer given no break. Has anyone else done something similar or can advise on likely timelines? The hysteroscopy is in a new cycle, day 13 so given that, could it be that the transfer could potentially be a week later (21st day 20) or going into the next cycle? I’ll find out next week but any thoughts greatly received. 😀

It often depends on what they do during the hysteroscopy. if they literally just have a look you can normally crack on straight away, but if they end up removing something you may have to wait to start again
Good luck! x

Thank you Daisy. Sorry I probably should have said it’s a polyp, had a hysteroscopy last September but they couldn’t find it, always shows up on scans so they want to take a look and remove if they see it before next transfer. Even if they do, it seems like they want me to continue medication into the transfer, I’m just unsure if it means the following week or longer for transfer. I suppose if a long protocol, I’m not sure of timelines, only known of short protocols previously. X
