When to stop Estradiol patches
When did you stop your estradiol patches in the run up to stimulation? Was it as soon as your period arrived (ie first spots of blood) or only when it hit full flow? Thanks so much!

Estrogen Dose Too High?
My hormones history is very long, so I won'tgo into great detail , but I had a hysterectomy (everything gone) about 16 years ago. I did fine on 1 mg oral estradiol for about 8 years. About 8 years later, I crashed badly with every menopausal symptom. The worse being the psychological ones. Not one

I am now 58 years old female. Two years ago after my eldest son unexpectedly passed away my blood pressure drastically went up from my normal 129/90 to somewhere between 203/113 and 160/100 for about four months. I went on Lercanidipine 20mg once a day (also Estradiol HRT). In less than 6 months, I

In so much pain from passing large clots… I really hate my uterus. Fed up! 😢
My usual dose of painkillers isn’t working for my adenomyosis & Endo pain this month. I came on yesterday. I think this month is extra painful because I took the Norethisterone to delay my period for my holiday and I regret taking it so much if that’s what’s causing this unbearable pain. Been in tears

Oestradiol patches day 15 or 16?
Has anyone done a protocol where they started using oestradiol 100mcg patches part way through their cycle then started stimulation injections at their next period? My protocol says to start the patches on Day 15 or Day 16. At one point on the phone the nurse definitely said in passing start on Day 15

Oestriol and Lupus
I am 71 and have had recurrent UTIs. My GP has prescribed me Oestriol cream and told to use it daily, on my genitals, to help with the post-menopausal atrophy of the general area but particularly around my urethral opening. With oestriol I do not need progesterone. The leaflet in the box

Feeling so tired and absolutely drained
Good afternoon, l wonder whether anyone would be kind enough please to see if they can help me? I have been feeling very tired and drained for several months and I am not sure if it might also have been aggravated by Covid, which I had in March this year. I have had a series of private blood tests,

Weight Gain with IVF meds (FET)
Hi everyone, I started my first round of IVF back in March, I had a BMI of 29 so only just within the NHS requirements, and was told ideally to lose weight if possible. I seemed fine with the drugs for egg collection, obvious hormonal fluctuations and a few aches/tiredness, but nothing weight gain related

Falsely elevated serum estradiol in woman of reproductive age led to unnecessary intervention and delayed fertility opportunity
On this forum, we have become familiar with the occurrence of interference with laboratory tests. Probably the most discussed in recent times ahs been that of biotin on tests which use streptin-avidin. Although the interference reported is not directly thyroid, sex hormones are very frequently discussed

Estradiol Clinical Trial in UK?
Since my diagnosis of hormone-resistant and metastatic, I've been researching my options, beyond SOC (my onco wants me to start enzalutamide + Leuprorolin immediately) . Having seen E2-Guy post on Estradiol, I saw that there is a clinical trial taking place in the UK, so I am interested in joining
