Supplements intake during Salvage Radiation Therapy, what to stop?
I will start my SRT (prostate bed only) after RRP surgery (09/2017/ G score 9 {4+5} no EC extension), (last PSA was 0.11 ng), next week and really confused about the followings: 1) What to eat? apparently, no fibers, no whole wheat bread, avoid anything that can cause gases/diarrhea/loose stool? Can C/L and venlaxafine ( effexor/ SSNRI) possibly be the reason I experience some symptoms ?,?
I really need some advice. I think perhaps some of my symptoms may be caused by one or more of my medications. I received a DAT SCAN (showed loss of dopamine in the right and left side of my brain) in 2015 confirming that I have Parkinson's but because my progression seems to be faster than most ,

If you could only choose 2 - 3 supplements
My dad is not a type of person who would take dozens od different supplements. His compliance to the regime would be 0. But taking 2 -3 would work. If you could only take 2-3, which ones would you take? I already bought Modified Citrus Pectin (Econugenics), and I'm looking to add 2 -3. I'm looking at

Levodopa and CYP3A4, but probably not Grapefruit juice... The next steps

Energizing alternatives to coffee/caffeine?
I have an extreme amount of exhaustion on the daily. I drink, eat, and sleep just fine, but every day at work I’ll be practically collapsing from how tired I am, let alone even being able to keep my eyes open. The only thing that helps is drinking coffee, which absolutely does help with the exhaustion

Tumeric Miracle?
I've had a mild virus lately just a very mild tickly throat cough. A very favourite remedy for sore throat is teaspoon tumeric powder, teaspoonginger powder, bit of black pepper to activate tumeric, as this is very important because tumeric doesn't absorb well in the body with black pepper, honey and

Tumeric
Hi, has anyone tried using tumeric supplements for arthritis or general wear and tear? Have you had any benefit in terms of reduced pain or stiffness by using it and are there any brands or combinations in capsule or tablet form that work best that help absorption ? If you have had improvement in symptoms

OK, I may catch some grief for this . . . I have had a second bout of klebsiella pneumoniae infecting my bladder which, for me, results in an increase in urinary urgency and seems to maybe have caused a slight flare of my osteitis pubis. I completed this round of antibiotics and I want to avoid having

CRP Levels
My CRP levels are monitored on a monthly basis and last week’s results triggered a call from my surgery saying an alert had been flagged as ‘they continue to be elevated’ and my GP needed a conversation with me. She is ringing this afternoon. Has anyone ever had this happen? Do you have your CRP levels

Unbearable pain on ejaculation for a year and a half, no idea what's going on
The whole story's kind of long, so I'll give a tl;dr at the end. I'll start by saying that I'm 20, male, and have never had sex. The first time this happened was around Nov 2017. For a few weeks prior there was a slight burn after climax that went away within a minute or two, but I didn't really pay

I like this lady's incisiveness in analysing and commenting on the BMJ paper and thyroid matters generally. It's from the Canadian Thyroid Patients Campaign site. It's a bit long but worth the read:

FDA is making it illegal for compounding pharmacies to compound 300 nutrients. This is an attack on all the Laura Mischleys.
Below is an email I got from the American Association of naturopathic doctors & McGuff Compounding Pharmacy Services, Inc. who makes injectable thiamine for some of us. Apparently the FDA is making it illegal for them to compound approximately 300 nutrients -- even if prescribed by your doctor. "Citizen's
