Post nasal drip
Greetings from VERY COLD Ohio. Does anyone have issues with chronic post nasal drip due to CLL? I do t know if I'm just hyper aware now or what..I know I've had this issue prior to be diagnosed and my pcp just said it was due to vasomotor rhinitis...but it seems like it never gets better..no infections

Waiting and Wondering
Hello everyone. I'm a 61 year old male and I started experiencing tinnitus in my left ear around July of 2023. In December of 2023 I began experiencing irregular/occasional bouts of dizziness which would last an hour or so then go recede. In January 2024 the occasional bouts of dizziness continue

this week my daughter and I decided we will run the Rotherham 10k on May 19th. Every year we as a family raise money for the hospital special baby care unit. This is because my 2nd granddaughter died there aged 7 weeks of sepsis. Ironically the same thing that killed my wife. So today I walked 10k!

Recommendations for overcoming dizzy episodes?
I have Tinnitus and Pulsatile tinnitus, since summer have had intermittent muffled ears, bit of dizziness. Past 3 weeks have had 24/7 clogged muffled ears like I've got my entire head wrapped in cotton wool and then in a box. What as really hit me hard is the swoosh of dizziness that suddenly hits

Peg and Ear infection
Hi all! New to the forum, what a great community and resource. I was diagnosed with PV recently at age 53 and started a Pegasys a month ago, only 45 mcg every two weeks for a slow start. No initial side effects, but 10 days ago got a sudden ear infection that hasn’t responded to antibiotics. Fullness

Diagnosed today with an acoustic Neuroma.
Hi Everyone. I have just been told this morning that my MRI confirmed an acoustic neuroma. The ENT Doctor said he is now referring me to a specialist in Manchester. Can anyone tell me what to expect now ? Did anyone have any treatment for it ? Thank you.

endometriosis centre
My surgeon has referred me to the endometriosis centre in Manchester. Has anyone else ever had to wait upto a year to see them? My surgeon isn’t in my area I have moved to so I’m struggling with what to do now as my treatment has finished this month after being on prostap for stage 4 endo.

MRI false positive?
After waiting 16 months for surgery I finally had my lap yesterday which didn’t find any endo - it was done with a specialist at a BSGE centre too. I’m so confused as 16 months ago I had a MRI which showed thickened uterosacral ligaments, mild adhesions near right ovary and right ovary possibly stuck

Thoracic Endo & Prostap
Just wondered if anyone has been in the same situation as me and would be happy to share their experience.....I'm early 40's and had an MRI which showed endometriosis and multiple large fibroids. I also requested a CT scan for my chest as I'd been having chest pain and shortness of breath. The CT showed

Back home & overthinking
After 12 days in hospital I am back home. I now have to wear morphine patches, (butec), take oramorph, cyclizine and various other medication. I've started my prostap injections so I'm mindful of monitoring my mood. I take HRT gel and tablets. It's a drain. So I decided not to to with the emergency

Sleep help with Tinnitus
Hi All, I’ve had a spike in my T since I was involved in a car accident a couple of months ago. I am deaf also so I wear hearing aids in both ears. I cope pretty well during the day and the hearing aids definitely help but at night it’s another story. As soon as I take my hearing aids out the noise

CRP and ESR up but no symptoms to speak of
(It had gone up in November 'out of range' to 26.5 and now again on recent
test
to 34.5).
ESR
was ok in November but has now shot up to 39. Most other bloods seem ok. Question: I have few to no symptoms. Occasional jaw tightness and really nothing else to speak of.

Tinnitus for six weeks for no reason
Hi, I've now had tinnitus for six weeks. It's very high pitched (like one of those sonic cat scarers) and sounds like it's in my head rather than in my ears. I've also had on and off daily headaches for nine weeks. Been to the docs and she doesn't care - said the headaches and tinnitus weren't related

Duloxetine - cold turkey and afterwards?
One of my tasks in the New Year (after discussing with GP) was to decrease Duloxetine and possibly try something else as the hyperhidrosis side effects were becoming so problematical for me and, after working well for nigh-on 3 years they also now had reduced effectiveness at controlling my pain despite
