a diagnosis at last
saw consultant yesterday I have almost completed diagnosis few more tests to come . it would seem that my CLL has mutated into a quite a rare lymphoma I don’t think I have it quite right but it’s called ana plastic lymphoma ( apparently a rare form that mutates from CLL ) I will have six courses

Dana Farber 2nd opinion?
I just got back my PET/CT results from yesterday. Bad! I have never had so much progression. Little spots, some new, some growing from last time, mostly in thoracic and lung area. Apparently, ribociclib (Kisqali) + exemestane didn't work at all. That is the last of the CDK4/6 inhibitors and ER inhibitors

Peeing , what to do?
My husband has had issues with peeing for years ( probably why stage 4 at diagnosis, cause blamed BPH) . He recently finished last chemo 3 weeks ago and is again noticing a change when peeing. Says that he feels a great deal of pressure towards the end of the pee stream and feels like the end of his

blue lips side effect olaparib
I’ve just started olaparib maintenance therapy following debunking and chemo that finished in January. I have started to get blue lips. My only other side effects are joint pain (helped by onega 3 and exercise) and mild nausea. Has anyone else had blue lips? Is it serious?

Hello Everyone, I’m on 5th line chemo , so well experienced at this game. It’ll be 9 years this year. I think I know the answer and I’m going to seek advice from my nurse specialist and have an appointment with my consultant soon, but I’d like to know if anyone has experience of either of the above

Not great news for hubby today. What is next?
Just updated my husband's profile so you can see his journey from 2016. Oncologist today said to continue the Abiraterone for another month and see where we are at with PSA results. Was up again today. He did have 6 rounds of targeted radiation last month, so would that cause PSA to go up. We were hoping

Unrelated PMR question, but asking for a desperate friend in need …
A friend of mine is bewildered about what is going on with his wife’s health. He doesn’t know where to go from here, so I told him I would ask for help from you. She has recovered from breast and throat/neck cancer, unrelated to each other, but has undergone chemo/radio and now has the all clear.

My experience with Docetaxel
I know everyone doesn’t respond the same but here is my experience and what I went through with 10 rounds of chemo. Before I started I had already been on Lupron for five years, I had radiation to multiple bone Mets, took zytiga/xtandi, had Provenge and did a clinical trial. October 26 2023 I started

What comes after, what comes next?
I have posted a few times about my dad. Stage 4, mets to 8+ bones at time of diagnosis, PSA at 137 (10/22.) Lupron twice a year, Bicalutamide, failed at 7 months, Xtandi failed at 4 months, currently on Zytiga. We met with my dad’s oncologist on 4/24. My Dad’s PSA dropped from 2.47-1.46 and pain has

Starting Chemo 5/14
Starting chemo on 5/14 via NIH trial with cytokine M9241. Been watching everyone's feedback on chemo prep. Interested in everyone's 'kit' of products, foods, & supplies to be ready with what works for the expected discomforts to come. Appreciate everyone's feedback!

repost - cancer progression - next steps?
I am reposting in the hope of receiving a response regarding best next steps. Please see my profile for history on my dad's condition. He went to the ER last weekend with severe flank pain and CT revealed left-sided hydronephrosis as likely cystic soft tissue mass obstructing the left ureter. An anterograde
