low grade serous ovarian cancer
hello I’m new to the group but I was diagnosed with low grade ovarian cancer in October 2020 and have since had a radical hysterectomy in December 2020 followed by 6 rounds of chemo starting in June 2021 which didn’t remove all the cancer I was given a course of letrozole but this didn’t work for me.

Living with cancer
Hi All, Hope you are all keeping strong and positive, which is not always easy! I was wondering if there is anybody out there who is or has been in my situation. I am stage 3C HGS with three surgeries and three lots of chemo. My surgery was a failure last year as they could not remove all the cancer

Update
just an update from my last post. Martins prostate cancer which has now spread to his liver showed 4 small mets on the latest scan. 1 was large enough to do a biopsy. It is now showing small cell prostate cancer which we understand is quite aggressive. We are still waiting to see if the biopsy shows

Supplement danger awareness regarding kidney disease
II first found the Kidney Disease Foundation website when I was wondering if CKD is reversible. My primary care doctor ,an internal medicine doctor, says it is not reversible. Off topic Friday, late as usual.
I had a tough appointment with my oncologist last week. She told me that she anticipates that my current medication will control my stage IV cancer for the remainder of this year and possibly for the next. After that she has only chemotherapy (docetaxel) in her armoury. She thinks this might prove too

Capecitabine(Xeloda) dose change
I have been on Capecitabine for about 9 months at a dose of 2000 mg per day (2 weeks on 1 week off). My scans have shown good results with the last scan showing no progression. My question is, has anyone had experience with reducing dose to 2000 mg 1 week on then 1 week off? My Dr. Has suggested changing

Need help to fight fatigue from Radium 223
Stage 4 for last 3 years. Had 6 cycles of Chemo and then Abiraterone for 18+ months until it stopped being effective. Currently part of trial with Radium 223. Had 4 cycles already and 2 more to go. After this will likely have to switch to Enzalutamide and ADT. Now having bad fatigue issues; on scale
