My mom have recurrance 3rd but all time she get only carbo and palitaxel and it works, also this time she start it but on 2nd influsion she has very bad reaction and now she has only palitaxel, after 3 influsions her ca 125 went down from 420 to 233 but after 4th chemo it is up to 249 , Ct scan after 3 chemo shows mixed results some

Lymph are smaller some same some

Bigger so this chemo is not work? Also some days before blood test she pulled out a tooth and have some ache, probably inflammation. What do u think on Monday must be her 5th chemo, will doctor give same chemo or will change something?

I had a bad reaction to carbo and can no longer have it. I was swapped to cisplatin. You need to have a conversation with yr mums oncologist.

Ask if they have considered gemcitabine or Caelyx (liposomal doxorubicin) as additional chemo drugs. They are usually used in second and third line treatment, at least in the UK. Where are you based?

Latvia, i am so sad that platin will not used anymore because of reactio. Because she still was platin sensitive

As Katmal said cisplatin can be used instead of carboplatin in such cases. Ask her doctor about it.
