Liver and gall bladder
Hello ladies, I am currently experiencing a lot of pain on the right side of my torso, front and back. I have tumours ontop and inside of my liver but they are shrinking with weekly chemotherapy. Docs think pain could be pressure on a nerve or gall stones. Apparently gall stones can be caused by chemotherapy

Q1: Why do my records say 'possible' squamous cell, when I had a biopsy. A: we were told that it had been confirmed to us at a meeting on 11/11/21. but the resulting report still says 'possible' and neither me or my husband recall being told a confirmed diagnosis. Reason given: we were too upset to

Health tips for first round of radio and chemo
my 76 yrs old mum was recently diagnosed with grade 4 brain tumour which was 90% removed this wk by craniotomy. She tolerated the craniotomy very well and was discharged the next day after surgery. Some numbness to left side but this was there prior to surgery and appears to have stayed the same thankfully

Hello, my dear dad had CT scan in May, took 4 weeks for the results! T4 N3 M0. We ( dad, me and brother) left a little numb after first appt with respiratory consultant, our ‘ lay person’ research meant we thought it was stage3b with regional spread but uncertain about treatment options. The consultant

I need help with my attitude
So I haven’t written in a bit because I have been waiting to find out what my next line of treatment is. ( Thank you to everyone who responded to my last post about med change). Ibrance stopped working after a year and a half and Everolimus didn’t work at all. I am waiting to find out if I qualify

hair care with olaparib
has anyone tried hair colouring or smoothening when on olaparib. My grays have become prominent in the last year and my hairs are growing back curly (never had curls before in my life) after the chemo. It is not super important to me to do the colouring or smoothening, but if there is no danger at all

next treatment Doxil
hello everyone In July 1st 2022 I enrolled in a clinical trial with AZD (Faslodex in pills) and Capivasertib. Unfortunately last PET scan is showing progression on my liver. Options are Everolimus or Abemaciclib and IV chemo: Doxil. My onc strongly recommends Doxil. Obviously I am scared of IV

Starting Keytruda this week
Starting Keytuda on Tuesday, just shy of a year after 1st round of chemo. My profile has the details. I have MSI-high, high TMB, MMR mutations; only thing is PD-L1 is 1%, but very hopeful. Can any comment on side effects they had & when they showed up. How were they handled. I'm expecting fatigue, loss

missed the diagnosis?
Hi all! I am at a crossroads. I believe I am not properly diagnosed, will have to find a new Rheumatologist, and have other serious problems that need addressed. Thankfully I have a great Primary care doc, and have an appointment on Monday to see an integrative medicine doctor. right now my health

No scan offered!
I have a recurring ovarian cancer. I'm treatable but not curable.I had radiotherapy in January to reduce a recurrence and my Ca125 went down to 21. It's now 48 ash's I'm told I can't have a scan until I have symptoms which strikes me as odd. I was having 3 monthly scans and was expecting one next month
