Hospital for over a week-no answers.
I also had an

I just wish the pain would stop!
Hi everyone. Having a bad day today, I have been in hospital for 11 days and now been home for 3 days. During my stay they they gave me 4 enemas and various amounts of strong laxatives to clear my bowel because it was blocked. I also had a flexible sigmoidoscopy and they said my bowel looks all good

NO I did not do the
enema
I took the magnesium citrate and the laxative. The laxative gave me diarrhea and pus, mucus, blood. He said well you haven't done everything that I asked. I told him I felt it was more serious than what is was WHILE IN TEARS at the doctors office.

DWP, ESA.... I'm coming to get you. I'm a mad black woman. Be afraid.... be very afraid.
I explained that I use either laxatives,
enema
or a colonic irrigation kit every day or at least 4 times a week. His report said I had abdominal problems and use an
enema
once a month!!! Once a month??? So what happens for the rest of the month? Don't i go to the toilet??

Scared of Symptoms
I was referred to a GI doctor after explaining to my regular doctor that I had mucus in my stool for quite some time along with stomach pains and occasional blood on the toilet paper after wiping (gross and probably too much info I know but I don't know what else to do). I went to the GI doctor and he

and have put me on the list for a laproscopy in case it is adhesions but he kept going on about it being really dangerous, the opposite of what was

RE: need a friend. Surgery done and wasn't a success
I told her that i had an
enema
and I could still feel it. I'm back at the drawing board with my lump. I can't wee, I can't poo, no sex and extreme pain. Nothing has got better and I am depressed, I haven't stopped crying.

Pester power works!
Having had a barium
enema
that showed "no abnormalities and I have no concerns" according to the colo-rectal Consultant I was told I would not be seen until May/June and had put my hopes of a resolution to my ongoing pain into seeing gynae in April.

Any help with left side abdo pain?
A barium
enema
which showed no abnormalities - to go back some time in June. I am referred to gynae as A&E Dr suggested endometriosis again.

Worth getting a private consultation?
I have been seen by urology - CT scan showed nothing untoward come back in 6 months, colo-rectal - barium
enema
showed a nromal bowel with no polyps or diverticulitis. It has now been suggested that the cause may be endometriosis.

Any advice - could this be endo?
Colo-rectal sent me for a Barium
Enema
(most unpleasant and painful) which has been done but I am waiting for the results of this. Colo-rectal made me feel really small, almost like he thought I was making things up; I am taking my husband with me next time as back-up.

Endo on the Bowel
Has anyone else tried doing home enemas for endo on the bowel? I have discovered it really helps when I have severe constipation/pain much better than pharmaceutical laxatives. I wrote a long post about what I do, recently. Just wondering if anyone else has found relief with this method.

IBS very painful
I was in hospital & they gave me an
enema
which my Doctor was not pleased about because she thought they would give me a scan. My question is does anyone else suffer with these symptoms when their IBS flares up & what sort of time does it last for.

Severe abdominal pain with persistent vomitting. . .
Visited A&E two days ago, was given an
enema
and an anti-sickness injection. Neither had helped. Last night, the abdominal pain became a lot worse. From a strong dull ache to very sharp stabbing pain. An ambulance was rang for me and I was taken to hospital.

Rambling Away...
I stood there shivering on the doorstep while the poor little dog tried to poo...and that reminded me of my nursing days when we used to use green soft soap as an
enema
...maybe I was talking out loud 'cos Millie produced her poo and slept peacefully for the rest of the night...
