I had an endoscopic microdiscectomy on my L5/S1 on 21st June 2019 after suffering agonising/debilitating pain from March 2019 (the surgery was only fast-tracked due to private medical insurance). I was advised the usual, to not bend, twist or lift anything heavier than 2lbs in the first 6 weeks. Not

Newly diagnosed with Ileitis (not sure if Chrons or infection)
They are going to do an
endoscopy
too. Anyone with a similar experience or information that can help me as I’m panicking and desperate for answers and my gastro team hasn’t been very helpful. Thank you!

I've been suffering for 2 years now, 2 ambulances, one week hospital stay, 2 colonoscopies with biospies, 1 upper
endoscopy
but no biopsies were taken, surely that would have been ruled out by now? Any similar experiences would be appreciated.

Am a little anxious to stop Apixaban for 5 days
I have to go in to have a colonoscopy and
endoscopy
and instructions say to stop taking all Blood thinners 5 days in advance. This seems like a long time to be off them and makes me anxious. Any input is welcome please.

Can’t get off the roundabout.
Hi, everyone, I spend half my life going for hospital appointments, thank goodness for our NHS. Been going to Rheumy doc for about 5 years now, I complain about the usual stuff, fatique, sore joints, rashes that come and go etc, etc. After telling her yet again my eyes are so dry and get red eye every

Mild PHN after shingles?
I’ve been driving myself crazy thinking it is stomach cancer (family history and it feels like it’s coming from my stomach organ) and have talked to my doctor and waiting for an
endoscopy
to hopefully rule that out.

How conclusive is endoscopy?
Both of these things terrify me and I am in particular absolutely terrified of the
endoscopy
but I am aware that if it shows signs of atrophy it might help my cause for a diagnosis (though they seem adamant my levels are fine).

Anxiety Medication
Both my GP and Gastroenterologist have determined that it's anxiety/stress that is triggering my symptoms, as my
endoscopy
, colonoscopy, and blood tests were clear. Now I'm considering anxiety meds/herbs for anxiety. Is anyone here taking anxiety medication for their IBS related symptoms?

Please help before I go crazy.
On April 25th I had a colonoscopy and
endoscopy
. Both normal. I’ve been having abdominal cramps and some food in my stool for a while now. Pepper and lately potatoes. Sorry for the tmi. Is this normal? I don’t see gastro until September now. My gastro doctor said I probably have ibs?

After effects of food poisoning
The doctors have been brilliant and I've had a Colonoscopy, Ultrasound and
Endoscopy
but they all came back clear. A friend of mine had been to see a Nutritionist and was told she was intolerant to bananas, since she's stopprd eating them she's feeling completely better.
