I’ve had the nissen 360 in 2017, coming up on 2 years now. I’ve had the chest pain, belching, gas bloat for a while now and have been referred back and due for an endoscopy end of Aug.
Most recently I’ve had a sore throat (burning) and now in the last 2 days my tongue is sore (red patch centre rear, with yellow/green around it) Did anyone else get this as a post nissen problem?
All the best

I did not have any problems until I vomited. Now all he'll has broken loose and the testing has begun once again. I am hoping they will do the surgery again as it was a life saver. Good luck in finding the answers you are looking for.
Hi ..wondering what you did after your surgery . I had mine Jan 2018 - day surgery ..promised over night stay but sent home at 9pm bewildered and slightly apprehensive . Liquid diet for 3 weeks so all via nutrabullet but decent blended veg and fruit etc . Given strict diet sheet which I kept to . During this time I lost 9kg . Joined PARIS NHS GYM scheme which is 18 months guided exercise with 6 month reviews with a trained on site coach .
I am 59 and feel a new person . 18kg lighter and now have lifestyle I can sustain with no silly diets just mindful eating .
Aftercare is important but it was really left to me. I had to endure a lot of painful unpleasent tests to even be considered for this surgery so didn't want to repeat it .
