So had
endoscopy
which showed a trace of gastritis, so given opermazole for 8 weeks. Meanwhile I have had two Colonscopis, 1st one was a fail but they found a polyp, I was too dirty for any further treatment.

Ascites Long Term
I've had MRI, CT, Ultrasound scans, an
endoscopy
, a biopsy, scores of blood tests/fluid tests etc. My medication includes spironolactone and furosemide but at the moment my spiro has been stopped as it affects my kidneys at times.

PPI complications
I've now had my
endoscopy
. I wanted to find out what state my stomach was in after taking PPIs (Omeprazol) for over 5 years and an H2 Blocker for 15 years before that (the now withdrawn Ranitidine of carcinogenic fame).

TOE (trans oesophogal endoscopy)
I have just had a TOE, which failed because I could not get the endoscope tube down, so will now have to have one under general anaesthetic. Has anyone experienced one of these tests and have you had any lingering effects in throat/chest after? Would appreciate any observations.

scared stiff about being referred to bowel specialist!
The next day I had a phone call saying I need to go on Friday of this week to have a
endoscopy
of my throat. since all this has happened I have thought of the obvious worse case scenario and it is driving me mad!

Colonoscopy prep and low weight - anyone?
I’m also concerned about fainting as I’m very much not good without food considering I have no reserves at all (I did a very dramatic faint in the waiting room for my
endoscopy
and would like to avoid a repeat!).

Doctor wants to do
endoscopy
, lung function test, and cardiac stress test, but with all the things (symptoms, doctor appointments, bunches of tests, waiting for results, etc.) that come at once, I feel so overwhelmed so I haven't done all yet. Also my endo doctor wants to do the Synacthen test.

WHAT’S BEHIND THE RISE IN COLON CANCER AMONG YOUNG PEOPLE?
Idan Levy, the head of innovative

at Sheba Medical Center. Levy says that although the terms “colon cancer” and “colorectal cancer” are often used interchangeably, colorectal cancer also includes cancers of the bowel and rectum.

My oncologist explained she wasn’t even considering chemo for me initially but it is in my best interest to have it to be 100 per cent sure the cells are gone, as you all know from my previous post all scans so far have been fine CT/Colonoscopy/

Struggling with life
I had CT scan, ultrasound and
endoscopy
last week. They found varicies in my stomach which should not be there as I have had TIPS proceedure. They wont do a wedge pressure test through fear of me having cardiac arrest like last time they tried.

Tired, fatigued, out of breath, dizzy spells?? - don't ignore it, get checked!!
Just had an
endoscopy
to look the stomach and small intestine. Didn't find the bleed but find that I have helcobacter pylora, which is a bacterial infection in my stomach, so have to have the other procedure , when the camera goes up from the other end if you know what I mean (!)
