Red Cheeks solution?
Can anything be done about hot, red flaming cheeks? I look like I've been scorched. Usually the red cheeks come and go, but they've been this way for two days now. It isn't just how they look, but also how they feel. My face is hot to the touch. Thanks in advance. Oh, I have PV JAK2+. Right now

Does anyone have silent reflux following the start of medication following a heart attack?
Hi Hearties After a heart attack mid February 2020, I developed silent reflux causing the back of my throat to become sore and affecting my speaking and singing which became croaky. Following advice from a Speech and Language Therapist this has been mainly resolved by me taking a couple of tps of Gavascon

Cardiologist pushing for beta blockers but my heart rate is slow anyway.
Historically I always had a resting pulse rate of 72 but since mid 2018 I've had a low pulse rate of around 50bpm when awake and 38-40 when asleep. An NSTEMI in 2019 followed by some really bad problems with tolerance to medications, mostly causing severe dizzy spells and near collapse but also frequent

First of all, ladies, I wanted to send out a very big heartfelt thank you for all of your feedback and concern. Without your input and experiences I don't know how much longer I would have had to put up with this really awful experience that is now I hope at least over with for the time being. I had

I am gearing up for my first FET and have been prescribed Prontogest intramuscular injections to take every other day. I’ve had two chemical pregnancies from my previous two transfers hence the progesterone increase (I’ve gone from the standard two pessaries in round 1, to the pessaries + 1 Lubion injection

Advice please: Natural FET cycle, should I take baby aspirin?
Hi guys, I went for my first scan today, I'm on cycle day 12 and my lining was 10mm and I have a dominant follicle at 17mm. I am now waiting for the surge, I had asked my clinic for blood clotting tests, my consultant doesn't feel I need this. So I asked whether I can take baby aspirin as a pre-caution

Fatigue and generally feeling low
After my HA in March 2020, I felt I was recovering well - feeling well and exercising regularly. I experienced some ectopic beats in the summer, which were checked via 72 hour monitor and deemed to be harmless - they faded away after a few weeks. Other than that life has been pretty much back

Confused !!
Spoke to my haematoligist earlier, my count was 461 she suggested uping my hydroxcycarbnmide I already take 1000 mg daily with clopidgril so said no. Lots of people on here have much higher numbers and only take aspirin. I seem to be over prescribed she did ask if I was well as bloods indicate otherwise

Stroke and mbc
Hi everyone, Happy New Year to all! I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced what I have had. I have always been basically healthy, don't smoke, exercise, active... In October 2018, I had a cryptogenic stroke - they never found what triggered it. Happily no sequelae. Lost all my self confidence

Medication organisers
When i first started taking one or two medications a day i was getting them out of the cupboard as required, but as the list of medications grew longer I invested in a seven day pill box which was fine when they all had to be taken in the morning. I was then put on other medication to be taken at evening
