Scalp tenderness when on low dose pred
Diagnosed with GCA in May 2020 I’m now down to 2.5 mg pred daily. I’ve had occasional scalp tenderness off and on since my original diagnosis but at the moment my head is really sore. Can I take ibruprofen? I’m also taking omeprazole daily and aspirin every other day. If not ibruprofen then any other

Need a listening ear
Not posted for a while as been feeling really bad, but need to let of steam and maybe get a bit of feedback. Feel so ill am convinced I am dying. My medication is limited to levothyroxine for hypothyroidism as I can't tolerate other medications, other than occasional paracetamol, diazepam or asprin

NK Cells & a host of other issues. MMC. Help what did I do wrong
I can’t stop going over everything in my head. I was on so much medication still everyday, lubion x 2, cyclogest, aspirin, prognovya, clexaine. And intralipids. I was doing everything I could…. Should I have been taking supplements too? Where did I go wrong? 💔 Desperate to start another round of ivf

Angiogram clear, what next? Microvascular?
Firstly thank you to everyone who responded to my last post regarding going for my angiogram on Monday, all your input helped! I did question beforehand if I needed the procedure which was interpreted as a 'reluctance' to have it done and spoke to 2 consultants about it along with a nurse! Anyway, after

Pv or NOT PV ?
Hello Everybody. Sorry for my basic & bad english firstly. 5 years ago, I went to the doctor with a complaint of bruising on my nail and had a blood test. Then they referred me to hematology because HGB HCT PLT was high. The hematology doctor ordered a serum erythropoeitin test and diagnosed polycythemia

Stopping Progesterone and Inhixa at 12 weeks - frightened 😔
**sensitive post** My partner and I are 12 weeks pregnant following IVF and we have been discharged to the care of the NHS. I contacted my private clinic to ask what to do with the medication at 12 weeks and they have told me to reduce my utrogestan and cyclogest this week and stop after seven days.

ET and Hydrea issues along with covid shot.
I am a 65 year old male and was diagnosed with ET at 50. Up until know I have been only taking a baby aspirin but my platelets won’t from 400 to 700 over the past few years so I was directed to start taking Hydrea. Started 3 months ago with one pill every other day and went down to 520 with no side
