Best OTC pain relief while on Xarelto/ DOACs blood thinners?
I am new to taking blood thinners and probably will be on them for life. My question is what is a safe pain relief sold over the counter for occasional use for minor aces and pains? I believe aspirin is not a good choice?

Side effects of baby aspirin
I want to talk about the side effects of taking baby aspirin. I had been taking aspirin daily for more than a year on doctor's orders, and at the end of last year, I experienced eye problems and almost constant slight fatigue, especially after breakfast. In the eyes, especially in the right, strong

Hi guys, So I feel like I’m going nuts… I’ve had a verrry slight sore throat in the few days leading up to my 2nd FET. Nothing bad, I swear I had it leading up to my first FET in December (I was so worried about getting covid and it being cancelled). But of course both times it was not covid so have

Migraine Headaches with disturbance of speech
I have ET treated with 500 mg hydroxycarbamide daily. I am also taking the blood thinner - rivaroxaban - as I have had previous clots - and buprenorphine hydrochloride. I have just started on a small dose of Irbesartan for raised blood pressure. I am 81 years of age and since I was in my sixties

Weekly aspirin cuts cancer risks
This is a link to a source I would not ordinarily cite, but the researcher comes up in serious papers elsewhere. If anyone can find a trial or reviewed article about it, that would be great. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/11407206/aspirin-once-week-slash-cancer-risk/

Changes in my labwork
I was diagnosed with jak2+ ET in March 2023 (though BMB report said they couldn’t rule out pre-fibrotic MF?) My hematologist immediately went on a 3-month sabbatical, so I’ll be meeting her next week for the first time. I’ve also managed to get a referral to an MPN specialist, but that appt isn’t until

Not what I was expecting.
So yesterday I went for my needle biopsy, I arrived with time for a coffee in hand and was rather grateful for that (pro tip) if you are going to a appointment at Shrewsbury hospital on a Monday morning, park on Sunday night. After a bit of creative parking on a bit of grass I went to the outpatient surgery

Severe bruising
I have been taking Acalabrutinib in a clinical trial for three years achieving excellent results. A few days back I tripped over uneven paving while enjoying my daily walk. I hit the concrete hard. Fortunately no broken bones. By that evening a nasty bruise had appeared on my right side and abdomen.

Hello Ladies! 👋 I had my 6th(and last) ET yesterday. All of the others were transferred on a natural cycle and this one is a modified medicated cycle. For all of the other ETs there was implantation failure. Im really hoping this change in protocol will help 🤞🤞Does anyone have a similar situation
