Pfizer Vaccinated with APS/Gene Mutations & Pulmonary Embolisms
I was also diagnosed with APS in 2013 after a DVT in my right leg, a pulmonary
embolism
in each lung, and my heart was enlarged. Initially, I was put on Warfarin but my INR fluctuated far too much I got additional blood clots in my lungs.

Any thoughts on having a bleeding peptic ulcer and APS and Lupus Anticoagulant
I have just had a bleeding peptic ulcer cauterised and clipped. The doctor says it’s stonking! He has taken me off warfarin because of the danger of bleeding out. I have not been offered any other anticoagulant options so scary time as he does not want me on warfarin for a week. Any thoughts on his thoughts

Piriformis Syndrome
Hi everyone I was diagnosed with PMR in March 2020, started on 15 mg. Reduced by 1mg each month, had to return to 10 mg in January 2021. Decreasing slowly and now down to 8.5mg. Towards the end of January Piriformis pain came back, I’d experienced the same thing in October 2020. Have been doing

I have PMR and due to Steroid induced pulminary embolism, I'm on Warfarin. Antibiotics affect INR levels. Can Covid vaccinations affect INR?
I am pro vaccine, had first Pfizer 24 Feb; 3 days later first ever unprovoked nose bleed for half an hour. Second Pfizer 24 March, then 12 days later 5th April on Easter Monday, massive haemmorrhrage epistaxis bleed 9.00. Tried everything then 111 said 999 so 15.00 ambulance to A&E . BP 200. Could

Still breathing
Ex smoker (2 years quit) ex pulmonary
embolism
. Breathing poor but spirometry OK. What I want to know is: if you have
embolism
with infarction does that mean you have lost a percentage of lung function? If yes then why don't they tell you how much? Anyone know?

Pleural Effusion
I’ve been having chest pains for weeks ever since my c- section that are slowly getting worse and worse I’ve had all the tests under the sun on my heart and all came out fine except when I was having an echocardiogram they noticed I had a small pleural effusion but they don’t seem concerned at all but

They just didn’t understand how fatigue affects me, or my balance (since I had a stroke event), or my strength issues or my breathlessness issues (that actually led to a Pulmonary
Embolism
a few months after the hearing), at all, they were only interested in my joint pains! Such numbs culls.

Mild PAH or not?
I got tests done through the NHS: several ECGs, a CT scan to check for pulmonary
embolism
, blood tests etc, all came back satisfactory, and the problem kind of went away on it's own after that.

Had my vaccine yesterday. I’m on W&W since I was diagnosed February 2020. I feel no one seems to know how much protection we CLLers have????
I had the Oxford vaccine, I have had no side effects which I’m surprised as I normally have a bad reaction to the flu jab painful arm and swollen. I asked the nurse if it would give me any protection with having CLL she said you should have some protection? Any one else have a reaction to the Oxford

What is the oxygen weaning process once tracheotomy is done? Is it weaning or shut down of oxygen?
Covid pneumonia, pulmonary
embolism
, diabetic, urinary retention, kidneys failing, inflammation, water around lungs, ventilator now with tracheotomy, a coma. Looks pretty bad, but never giving up! Breathing on his own, still 40% oxygen. He had to show more signs of consciousness! It’s so hard.

Anxiety and extreme worry due to health issues
My biggest fear came true a month ago when I developed a pulmonary
embolism
after arthroscopic knee surgery. I made it to the ER in time and my prognosis is positive.

Panic attack.
Pulmonary
embolism
? Stroke? Cancer? I cannot control it and am disabled until it passes. Once its done, i realize i just went through a panic attack. They come without warning or trigger and make me feel like something grave is going to happen or my body might just stop functioning.

'Dancing With the Stars' Judge Carrie Ann Inaba's Autoimmune Diseases— TV host takes leave of absence
APS can lead to many health problems, such as stroke, heart attack, kidney damage, deep vein thrombosis, and pulmonary
embolism
. APS can also cause pregnancy-related problems, such as multiple miscarriages, a miscarriage late in pregnancy, stillbirths, or a premature birth due to eclampsia.

Swollen ankle
I had a large pulmonary
embolism
at the beginning of November & am now on Apixaban. It must have come from a DVT in my leg although I didn't know I'd had one as I've also got a lot of joint & muscle pain.

Advice, encouragement, sharing
After surgery I found my left leg immobilized from the knee down which resulted in a bilateral pulmonary
embolism
. Last week I celebrated a month out of hospital. I am now able to walk normally but the flexibility in my left leg is far from what it was before.

Pulmonary embolism
I have two large blood clots, one in each lung, pulmonary
embolism
. I was in hospital for two days and had heparin injections. I have not seen a doctor since. My blood pressure tablets were stopped. I was on blood thinners following a stroke but these have been changed.
